It should be illegal to accept money from any foreign country or person

The state funding politics with vouchers and outlawing private funding is such an obviously good idea.
  • Just stop the money going into politics … and please stop these corruptive practices … pass a law for heaven’s sakes .

Why isn't this front page news? Why isn't this ALL over the BBC?? Why isn't legally blocking ALL of this on Labour's manifest- oh...

I couldn't vote for Labour this year because they've put up a London based millionaire who works for a think tank, as candidate in my non-London constituency. Same shit different party flag.

I need to say, I wish you would devote a much longer period to some of these guests - understand it might not work for everyone but some of the guys you have on I could listen to for at least an hour, if not too. Great interview, just wish it was longer!

Fascinating. Fully expect the subject to be examined in depth by the BBC soon. Would give 1000 likes if I could bribe YT.

The issue with lobbying is its secrecy if the quid pro quo of politics became public and open it would be stopped because it looks disgusting to anyone.

32:00 isn't Keith Starmer doing the opposite of this by bringing in big doners whilst the tons of members leave? So less democratic.
  • @Coops5361
If only the issue of dark money got the same coverage as Flutter-Gate is currently getting.
  • @drdjnorg
If only we had journalism in this country.

im more disgusted by JUST HOW CHEAP corruption is in the UK than the fact there is corruption.. Corrupt politicians is par for the course but just how cheap they are is appalling
  • @LimeyRedneck
Agreed! I was shocked when I found out how little cheap our politicians can be bought for!! 😳

Thanks for this post. The most infomative and important thing I've read in ages. I recommend their website.

Labour: So much change, it is the exact same donors getting what they want again. Starmer poses zero threat to this unsustainable status quo.

Bottom line: it's all about the money, maintaining the wealth and the profits of big corporations. The government can see that the policies they've advocated for decades are impoverishing the nation, yet carry on with them because they get kickbacks! Declaring a vested interest in a register no longer cuts it. We need a politician that is willing to stand up and say "No" to this.
