7up Chicken (I call it that), also known as Pinaupong Manok (Pelukluk Manuk) is a popular, easy-to-make dish that normally requires a whole chicken. The highlight ingredient is 7up or sprite as the dish needs to be caramelized without adding additional sugar. I am doing it the Kapampangan way (my province of origin). The lemongrass also makes a ton of difference and fragrance to the dish. Replace with ginger if you don´t have them and it will also be good. Enjoy, Benjar

7UP CHICKEN INGREDIENTS
► whole chicken (here 1.5 kilos)
► 500 ml 7up
► 3 stalks spring onions
► 4 stalks of lemongrass
► salt and black pepper
