A interesting what if? What if the Zillo beast had decided to immediately slam the shuttle cockpit first into the ground repeatedly and had killed all the occupants. No Palpatine, no Anakin, no Padme and no Skywalker kids (or Palpatine kids - spoilers 🙀)…oh and those droids. What would've happened? Dooku was still alive so he runs the CIS, but does he now play to win? He can't issue Order 66. Was Palpatine actually in serious danger and Anakin saved him, or was this a calculated risk on Palp's part and he could Force control the beast or use his abilities otherwise to save his ass at the last second? Anyways, if you want a escape ship in case of attack, it makes sense to use a combat vessel as the base design and then make make it even faster. Or do what a lot of modern elites do and have a standard van on the outside with luxury fittings inside along with the security features.
