Can we just be happy for Caloy and leave their family issues to themselves. We are not with them 24/7 and so we dont know their issues. Let blood and emotional ties resolve itself. There's nothing more annoying than unsolicited advise from people who thinks they're holier than thou.

In those posts, the mother apparently: 1) had disowned Carlos (cover photo of the “complete” Yulo family, sans the Olympian); and 2) was nowhere near rooting for Carlos during the 2024 Paris Olympic games (post about the Japanese gold medalist and post about her two younger children with “sigurado” gold medals in the offing). While Carlos Yulo’s money is none of the Netizens’, the media’s, and my business, his mother’s fr*ck*n’ publicly taunting him—a Filipino sports hero, a living national treasure—is. Mocking mothers notwithdtanding, Congratulations, Carlos Edrial Yulo! Mabuhay ka at ang lahat ng manlalarong Pilipino sa 2024 Paris Olympics! “Put your trust in God,” as the proverb goes, “and keep your powder dry.”

Tama lang ginawa ni Caloy para magising ang nanay nya sa katotohanan na walang mapapala ang pagsira nya sa anak niya dahil siya din naman nakikinabang.
