I worked at Taco Bell in 1986 and 1987. I started as a cook, promoted to a steamer, and finished my career as a stuffer. Those were the days.

its 6 in the morning, just got home an hour ago, showerd, half drunk still, and im watching 1980's fast food commercial ads. Muh life is becoming more and more complete.

i love that even years after this ad taco bell still has this deal. sure its 2 dollars more now a days but still 5$ still gets you two main items a little desert [or if you got a cool taco bell you can exchange it for chips and cheese] and a soda! i still its one of the best fast food deals out today.
