Two years later, this free dance still gives me chills. Hands down, one of if not THE best performances on ice, PERIOD. I am so grateful to have witnessed this magic live with my own eyes in 2014. Meryl and Charlie are the epitome of two souls in sync, the personification of passion and dedication! Theirs is a bond that transcends time and space, brought forth only through perseverance and mutual love. Bravissimo!
  • As a basic ice skater(?) I can say Meryl and Charlie are the best ice dancers ever. The smoothnes in their moves and their artistry is so beatiful. They really embody immense power and athletic ability
  • They are flawless, well deserved, still get chills two years later.

While I'm trying to find fault cause I wanted Canada to come home with the gold, it's hard. Every movement was flawless and I was honestly left feeling stunned by how in synch their skating was. It looked less like they were skating and more like they were soaring over the ice.
