My pastor (who I was in ministry with) finally just ask me if I was a Christian! Boy, was I mad!! But I went home and God's Spirit dealt with me! Showing me my sin and how I was an enemy of God's! Praise God for this brave pastor..."faithful are the wounds of a friend"...

If you Never doubted your own christianity then you've NEVER examined yourself.
  • Incredibly important question. Far too many people allow family, loved ones, and unregenerated church-goers to pass through life and die without being saved because we are too afraid of offending them. But how to know who is or is not saved? And, how to approach these people with gentleness and respect. Good advice in this video.

Fantastic. I just prayed earnestly to God about how I can show my Bible study group that they are not really saved (except one guy). Then suddenly I see this in my recommended You Tube videos. Thank you Lord!!!

"The one who says "I know Him" but does not do as He commands is a liar and the truth is not in Him" 1 John 2:4

The other side to this coin is I see a lot of Christians deciding who is saved or not and what it looks like based on their standards for what a "real" Christian is or what "fruit" looks like to them. Many of our biblical heroes did things we would consider "unchristian". I feel like it's better to encourage than make presumptions. I've seen people call out others and thought "well this is a plank in your own eye situation..."

That was a truly beautiful Spirit-filled response and question.

A beautiful and loving response. Taste and see, share your relationship with God with them. It worked on me - I was in a Lutheran Church from birth but God sent people to me to wake me up in my early 20's. By seeing their personal relationship with a living God who still speaks to His people I was convinced that even though I did believe in the Messiah I was not yet Spirit filled. They modelled what my heart really desired and from there it was a simple step to the full relationship with my beloved Lord.

In my case, I was the one who left the church because God opened my eyes to His true gospel. I was once a part of the prosperity gospel movement and they think that I am not really saved because I left them.

The Lord has put this on my heart a lot lately. I have a couple people in mind where this subject is concerned. I know there life, I know how they live, what they say, what they don't say...............I really feel they aren't born-again. I feel I need to say something to them, and sooner than later. One person is moving away and at this time I don't think I will ever see them again, so I wanted to write a letter. I really feel in my heart they won't take what I have to say very good. But I care about them and their salvation!! I have been praying on this heavily lately.........God bless you all
  • Trust in Jesus without badmouthing others is a true salvation!
  • Only GOD in Christ Who Perfectly knows the Heart in Christ of Believers, and not Anyone here in This World.Just Obey the Commandment of GOD in Christ, saying:'LOVE GOD Above All and Love One Another.'
  • @nagol5178
Usually when someone ask this it's because of open sin. Christians who have private sins tend to be real vocal about Christians who have sins you can see. Somehow the private sins are forgiven and they are saved by Grace but the open sin is evidence the person is not a Christian.

I worry if judgement pushes those away who might otherwise be saved. I’d rather loving them, connecting with them, and modeling a holy life will be more palatable to the unbelieving or those on thier way to believing. Humans don’t tend to appreciate judgement, gossip, or being told or made to feel they are less than. It’s such a tricky subject. Our actions to save could lead to other feeling alienated and worse... alone isolated and lonely. What terrible things the Devil can do with those who feel alienated and judged. Joy and love is always the answer. Save with love because God is love. Love the confused or unbelieving as God loves you and eventually that will lead them to Him in very beautiful and non judgmental way. Pastor John understands. Sharing and loving and offering yourself and God offers himself. Love. How do you save. Love. ❤️
  • Hay ! Wow ! You have the authority to play God I'm ready to fall to my knees . You've get t the power to say who's saved and who isn't . Holy smokes !
