ASUS ROG Flow Z13 - Intel i9-13900H, RTX 4050, 16 GB RAM. 130W AC power adapter.
It uses a vapor chamber and liquid metal for both the CPU (like on PS5) and GPU to better dissipate the heat.

Cyberpunk 2077 Benchmark:
Preset High, DLSS Balanced + Frame Generation:

1600p (Turbo) = Average FPS 70
1600p (Performance) = Average FPS 61
1600p (Silent) = Average FPS 53

1200p (Turbo) = Average FPS 101
1200p (Performance) = Average FPS 94
1200p (Silent) = Average FPS 74

Turbo GPU TGP averages around 60W
Performance GPU TGP averages around 45W
Silent GPU TGP averages around 25W

Sorry for the bad video, but you can ask me in the comment below if you need more information regarding the ROG Z13.

NOTE: Correction on the GPU Mode Standard - You can get G-Sync this mode because it switches the display driver to the dGPU (Advanced Optimus), but you might encounter a problem where you have to close some programs that is blocking from the display driver to switch from the iGPU to dGPU.

This is the unnecessarily detailed overview I was looking for! Seriously covers everything. Wish more tech reviewers would do this.

Really great review! I just ordered one and I'm so excited. And love how you're playing PGR on it, it's seems so perfect for that haha - I'm looking forward to playing it on mine when it arrives!!
  • So I just picked up one of these last week, as I've always been a huge fan of the Surface Pro type form factor. And I've owned almost every version of the Surface Pro that MS has released (except the SP9). I travel a lot for work, but I often want something I can both do some work on, as well as play lighter titles such as CS:GO, Rocket League, older RTS games (Rise of Nations, EEII, etc), and occasionally Doom: Eternal or Doom (2016). I do have a Razer Blade 15 (2022) that I've been using, but as a left-handed gamer, I much prefer an external keyboard for any games. Often with hotel rooms there is limited desk space (depth, anyway) available, so I've been looking for something that could have the keyboard removed, but still be usable for gaming. I'm not a fan of the "convertible / tent" style laptops, as those just look and feel odd to me. I was admittedly a little worried about how well this unit would be able to play some of these titles, but even running Doom:Eternal at native 2560 x 1600, high settings, it's pretty playable. In Performance (standard) mode, I can maintain 95+ FPS in Doom: Eternal, DLSS Quality, at 2560 x 1600, high settings. 60+ FPS with RT on. In Performance mode with DLSS Balanced on, I can maintain 110+ FPS in Doom: Eternal, again, at 2560 x 1600, high settings. In Turbo mode, DLSS Quality on, RT on, I can maintain 65+ FPS in Doom: Eternal. 2560 x 1600, high settings. With DLSS Quality On, RT OFF, 115+ FPS in Doom: Eternal It shows that the Core Thermal throttle flag was set, but no cores or package ever reported a higher temp than 87C. It's a pretty impressive little machine; I'm very tempted to keep it, and to sell my 2022 Razer Blade 15 instead.

Great video, I had last years model with the 3050ti. It’s amazing how much better the 4050 is at that low TDP.

Thank you for the video, in terms of material quality can you confirm its a tough tablet which could be used for business purposes?
  • Great video! Appreciate the effort and time spent to go into details.
  • I've been using an old Acer Triton 300 2017 for work, 3D, editing and some gaming for little longer than 6 years. It was nice at a time with a full TDW 1050 ti and i7-8750HK but obviously it is outdated today. I've shifted from 3D and video editing to just writing code and playing some games like CSGO, GTA Online and Cities Skylines, plus I don't use my laptop's screen, so I was searching for a lightweight and powerful machine that could be my hub at home and allow me to do all the work on the way somewhere. I guess I have to look no further. So thanks for the review!

hi - how much does the laptop itself weigh and does it overheat when playing high-end games?
