My wife and I were baptized at First Baptist Dallas. As heartbreaking as this situation is, we are grateful to God that this fire didn’t happen on a Sunday when services are held, and no one was hurt.
  • It breaks my heart, decades of memories of the old sanctuary fill my heart.

Fire can’t burn what God has put inside of you. The people are his church and that’s what he’s coming back. Keep the faith saints carry your memories in your hearts.

Who ir what was the culprit? Also why did the "records and library burn". Idk

PLEASE...restore it....don't let it be torn down !!!

So sad. I pray they can salvage the church.
  • Honestly, from what I saw there and the fact that the basement was probably the hottest part (that is the foundations) they are probably looking at a demolition. I think It would be best to salvage a few things to put into a new building and build a new one. Its not the building that is important; all things are temporary in this world... the important thing is the congregation. Build a new, modern one and start new memories.

Faith , miracles, and GOD will restore this church , his hands are available for this congregation’s woes.
  • हमारा परिवार / स्कूल / समुदाय / चर्च बेहतर है क्योंकि आप इसका हिस्सा हैं।
  • I thought it was the Dallas County Court house at first. I did some work there and walked up the spirals. It was amazing stepping back a 100+ years in time.. They were puting Christmas lights up and I was so fascinated. I walked away from my crew and helped the city workers because they got to walk on the roof of that magnificent structure. I felt like I was in an ancient castle.

May God help you to overcome this "hurdle". Thank you for keeping the Faith!

Acts 7:48-49 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest? Jeremiah 23:1-2 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the Lord. Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the Lord. Ezekiel 22:26-27 Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain. Micah 3:11:12 The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the Lord, and say, Is not the Lord among us? none evil can come upon us.

Oh c'mon; if they can rebuild Notre Dame after a fire this should be simple. Older buildings are a part of our country and should be preserved
  • @timsworld9342
If God really existed why would he burn down his own house what is he trying to teach you that's right 'cause he doesn't exist😮

Uhm their temple was destroyed….. maybe they should reflect on who they worship
