“If we just maintain to carry our language, carry our cultural practices, that we still can survive the next 500 years” -Alex Seowtewa Our Zuni youth needs to listen to this.

Gloria is his eldest daughter, my mother. I spent many many many Many hours with him personally. I know his life story by heart. It feels great to hear his voice again and also sad. It's been years since I've heard it. I have tears. I am an artist myself and am so grateful to have been mentored and critiqued by him. Thank you all for your comments and positive words. He was the most influential person in my life. My name is Daniel Aguilar Jr, Gloria Seowtewa is my mother and Daniel Sr is my father from Kewa, Santo Domingo Pueblo.

One of many great Elders with knowledge that is missing today... Grandparents held families together. Find old Pueblo videos all Pueblo's brother's sister's. Over 300 different Pueblo's just in Southwest. HOME. Glen canyon is the key before it was flooded along with others. Respect they elders children!

I met him too. Went to the church with 2 friends. So beautiful. Such a strong vibe. Wanted to sink to the floor under the weight of it, and sit as I was listened to him talk. But I didn't. Katchinas are so connected there. Will never forget.

This is such a informative video on Zuni people. It should reach to more international viewers. Yesterday i was watching about zuni Pueblo people by Peter. It was full of such positive vibes and warmth. I started searching for more on zuni and stumbled on this. Great video.

Beautiful documentary on a culture now almost lost. I wish our "Modern Culture" could learn the ancient secrets of living in harmony with nature. If we could learn that all the materials in the world will never satiate us. Only living in harmony with nature, can give peace to the soul. The ancient cultures have so much to teach the modern cultures. I am at a crossroads in my life.thinking about becoming a nurse on this reservation but caught in the materialism of our modern culture. Still trying to decide which road to choose.
