EASIEST WAY TO MAKE COMPOST AT HOME #urbangardening
DAIZZ'S TIP:-Composting is a great project to do because it uses food and yard scraps that would otherwise be thrown away to make a nutrient-rich soil amendment.Making compost correctly will allow you to feed your plants essential nutrients and make your soil more fertile, all while using items that would otherwise go into your trash.

  • Very good work done by the channel holder he is really so patience that he waited for about 70 days to complete this video salute to you sir 🙂
  • An excellent presentation. Easy step by step explanation. No jargon. No long introduction. No expensive compost bins. No ridiculous 30 day miracles. Looks very simple. Loved it.
  • @batata4life99
Love how everyone’s trying to learn how to plant during quarantine
  • I’ve been on your channel for a few years. I love you. That’s all I have to say. You’ve inspired me to nurture the green thumb I had and now my whole family calls me the gardener.

After completing the process if you let the top compost dry out for about 7 days , all the earthworms go towards the bottom moist soil and the you can easily remove the dry compost leaving the bottom earthworm layer in the same container. Start the process again in the same container. It also speeds up composting process in the following times.
  • if this is done inside, make sure to wash the inside of the eggs shells or the stench will be terrible. Also, it would be ideal to grind them to powder for better absorption (a coffee grinder can used and then washed) and to prevent injuries when hand mixing: eggs shell becomes razor sharp when dry and no one wants to "feel" them under fingernails.

I never realized how freaking long a process creating food soil is. I swear farmers need to be paid so much more than what they’re getting currently.

I love how he's chill with a centipede crawling all over him I would be freaking out 😂Thanks for the help!
  • I love the idea of putting a bit of compost in with the scraps, like a yogurt starter! I am definitely going to try this, thanks!!
  • This is a fantastic video... I am an organic farmer myself. I produce my own fertilizer and other concoctions. I operate at my backyard in an urban estate in Nairobi, Kenya. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing! Cheers!
  • This is a very informative and useful video. I once thought that I would have to buy a large, expensive, mechanical composter! I have really always wanted to recycle my kitchen reffuse! I'm going to share this with my son, (a 6'4" tall man,) who is trying to feed himself healthily on a budget and also wants to save the environment, as well as money!

Excellent explanation. Just 2 things that has to be noted here is, one is you have added green Neem leaves whereas you need to add only dry Neem leaves. This is because green Neem leaves has anti fungal properties, it might affect the microbes and slow down the composting process. Secondly you have used wet Cow dung but dried cow dung (powder like) shall be mixed in water before adding as it contains more microbes than wet cow dung. One more bit of information, for speeding up the composting spray Sour butter milk mixed with water.
  • the best video on composting. using very simple things, nothing fancy that is out of the reach, and showing and explaining how to store it and use it at the end! amazing information!

  • @lalithakirsnan

  • @michaeltodd2923
I Don't even have to look through a ton of videos. Just see if you have one. Love em man. This is perfect.
  • @JD-dl3px
What I love about your instructions: short (5-10 mins) easy to follow for beginners (audio & written) contains "recipes" for the ingredients and images of what it should look like in days/weeks/months ahead so we know if we are on the right track, and you answer back, Yay! Please make a video for stevia plant and how we can use it ? Thanks you are amazing :)
  • Truly amazing how easy compost is to make! This is what I'm working on doing for next season! Wish me luck guys! Great video!
  • Thank you I'm new to this but I respect how many people have viewed this video for self sustainability is a lost art in these modern times.
