Welcome Home, Soldier

This is a short film about a great family coming together again. Paul Gibbs was deployed shortly after finding out that his new wife, Katy, was pregnant. He was serving in Afghanistan throughout the entire pregnancy and watched the birth via Skype. We were able to be at baby Everett's birth to document that great day for this family. It was amazing being there on another momentous day- the day that Paul would get to meet his son for the first time at almost 3 months old! If this doesn't make you smile or cry I don't know what will. Thank you, Paul (and family), for all the sacrifices you have made for this country! I cannot stand that there are any dislikes on these videos. If you are American you should respect and appreciate all the sacrifices that these men and women make for not just your freedom but also for my families as well. Thank you to our service members and their families for what they do every day. I know as the mom of a U.S marine i am extremely proud and thankful everyday for the choices my son made. Yes I am also extremely grateful that he is home now. It doesn't mean i dont appreciate what he did and what the members of our Armed Forces do everyday as well as the sacrifices made by their loved ones. They may be on the front lines but as a mother of a Marine,being home trying to live a normal life is not possible when you don't know what they are going through everyday. The families are just as much soldiers as the actual soldiers. Neither job is easy. The soldiers sign up for their jobs we get ours because we love them. Good bless our troops and their loved ones especially during the holidays which is one of the hardest times to be apart. You're all in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless
