As a Father who grew up without his, I struggle to know if I’m doing right by them. This song unlocked the proof that I’m doing my best and can continue to try my best to be the man they deserve. Thank you Allen!

Got me crying at work. I have a 4 and 2 year old. Being a Dad is the most difficult/fulfilling endeavor I have ever embarked on. Thanks Al

Happy father's day 💐 to all the amazing dad's out there. We really appreciate each and every one of you ❤️

Oh c'mon, Al.. I remember when this song first dropped and now you're gonna officially release it today June 10th June 10th marks not only my late father's birthday, but it's also shares the day 1 year ago where my wife and I got to take our baby Shiloh home after a 3 month hospital stay. What a gift being a father is and you write the truth of it so eloquently. Much love for you and this song, be blessed!

Most underrated singer/ songwriter of all time. How can everyone not see how awesome this guy is. His time will come tho, I'm sure of it.

I'll never forget hearing this live in Miami with an orchestra. Truly magical, you had the entire audience in tears, my brother. You're a world-class singer who deserves more recognition, one of the best to ever do it. Thank you for making music and keep it coming.
  • If you ever spend a VIP weekend with Allen as we did this year in Nashville, you’ll understand the man, the family, the passion and why these songs strike at your soul…because all of him is so real and full of love. Keep bringin it Allen!

You killed it with this one, man. Seeing your family videos is such a personal touch. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. ❤ Good dad vibes.
  • And it's okay to cry, dads. Just like I did during this entire song. 4 yo and 2 yo here - thanks for a great reminder of how fleeting all of these moments really are. The best ones, the hard ones and everything in between. Appreciate you, Al. Hope you have a great Father's Day!

What a tear jerker, man. Fantastic song. I'm fortunate enough at 31 years old to be able to send this to my old man and say thank you and that i love him. Keep doing what you're doing dude...This is your calling.
  • No voice is better on this planet. Top of the game. Thanks for everything Allen.

LYRICS: I see you on the kitchen floor Three weeks past the age of four Will you remember this? There's so much that I'd like to say 'Cause someday you'll push me away And leave your innocence Your father's father loved in his own way We had our moments but he would always say That I will fail but always try And I will do wrong things and apologize And show you what it's like To forgive And I'll give you space but never leave And be your safe place for you to grieve When you get lost please remember this A father's love knows where you live I see your arm around someone The salt and sugar of your love I do remember this Oh a heart can break a thousand ways There's wisdom in the skies we make And time will heal the rest I'm just a father who's learning his own way All I can offer is exactly what my daddy would say Well I will fail but always try I will do wrong things and apologize And show you what it's like To forgive And I'll give you space but never leave And be your safe place for you to grieve When you get lost please remember this A father's love knows where you live And I will do my best To not cushion every fall Even though my heart tells me To save you from it all Well there will be tears and jealousy And there will be loss and victory But when your daddy's gone I hope that you will see That I failed but always tried I did some wrong things and apologized And showed you what it's like to forgive And I gave you space but wouldn't leave And I'm still a safe place for you to grieve When you get lost please remember this That I failed but always tried And I did some wrong things and apologized And showed you what it's like to forgive And I gave you space but wouldn't leave I'm still a safe place for you to grieve When you get lost please remember this A father's love knows where you live Knows where you live Listen to my song "I'll Be Me" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiA8ZkYaTdg
  • Most talented artist out in my personal opinion. Probably listened to this 20 times. Allen never disappoints.

To all the dads out there who grew up without a good example, to those who have lost their fathers, to those who had their fathers by their side every step of the way, and everyone in between: you are seen and deeply loved by the Father. This song touched my heart and will undoubtedly inspire me as a dad. Salute, Uncle Al!
  • @shanetrammell
Is finally the 10th! Got all the dads out here crying today, Mr. Stone.

This song just wreaked me!!! I didn’t have a real father, but a great father figure…. And he said everything in this song. I feel so empty, yet full at the same time. THANKYOU!!
