So we foster dogs and that can be a messy job for carpets! This is how I currently clean "pee spots".
I use a towel to soak up excess pee and then I will layer baking soda to soak up the additional moisture. I let it dry overnight and then vacuum up the baking soda and pee that has attached to it. This still leaves baking soda down in the carpet so I needed a way to get that baking soda out. I saw this car detailing kit online and thought it would be perfect for this job. This is an up-close video showing how it gets deep inside the carpet fibers and sucks up all traces of the baking soda. Once all the baking soda and pee is gone I will rinse the residue left behind with one of my carpet cleaners! Clean carpet :)

Watching my old videos and cringe 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m such a weirdo! 🤣

I know you're covered on vacuums but, if you really want one designed for carpet, the Sanitaire upright is a good choice. If you don't want to spend much, the Eureka 1934B is good, too.

The method of using baking soda has worked for me, but after it dries and I vacuum as much as I can, I then use my carpet cleaner and rinse with vinegar. And it reacts when it's sprayed so I know where it is.
