NOT Game Theory: What is HAPPENING in Silly Billy? (Friday Night Funkin': Hit Single)

When thinking about that (the theory) It makes the lyrics hit harder. My guess and interpretation is that Yourself did exorcise Herself (Yourself's GF) but actually regrets it which led to his mental and physical change. The lyrics could be him wanting approval from someone, wanting anyone to be proud of him so he feels better about the decisions he's made. But deep down he feels nothing but guilt and regret because he probably did love Herself. It's also stated that Herself resides in Yourself's microphone, meaning that she chose to stay for some reason or she's confined to the mic for whatever reason. So what if Yourself did exorcise Herself but actually loved her, so he confined her spirit to his microphone so that she'd stay with him after the exorcism. The only problem I see with this theory is that Herself seems to embrace Yourself during that frame she appears in, not only that, but she joins in on one part of the lyric section. As a guy who hasn't been exorcised just yet, I can't say anything, but I don't think I'd embrace and sing with the fella responsible for sending me to the abode of the damned. Great theory nonetheless.

My theory is that, Yourself is a version of bf where everything goes wrong and tries to show bf the way of success and not make the mistakes he did which led to gfs death. He wants bf to tell him how proud he is of him because he wants to know if hes doing good enough in life and also possibly because of gf possibly saying how proud she is of him before death. Asking bf to stay awake just long enough to see his path for success that yourself couldn't have ensuring bfs great future and making sure bf doesn't make the mistakes yourself did leading to yourself downfall which can explain the tattered clothing and dark circled eyes and possibly the reason of gfs death or after gfs death. Yourself is a parallel to bf meaning if bf does something bad then yourself does something good or if bf does something good yourself does something bad which can explain how things can happened to yourself. Its heard that gf is singing with yourself because she cant let go of him and wants to make sure yourself can make the right decision even if she isn't there to make sure he isn't alone all by himself. But that's just a theory, A GAME THEORY

i like to think when he's singing he's singing to girlfriend telling her he'll make her proud and to 'stay awake' is just to stay with him and her soul is fading away

Actually the first theory was actually correct (confirmed by the creators) and yourself is talking to gf in the lyrics,his appearance also explains that he is emotionally and mentally broken from the loss of his love,but I also think your theory is interesting,maybe bf did exorcize gf but feels regret about it,wanting the other version of him to not repeat his mistake,since he truly did love gf.

i think of it as a three way message: one for divide as the whole song is in tribute to him one for yourself's gf which died in his universe and one to bf telling him to take care of his gf's

SHORT STORY: silly billy aka yourself is bf from a different alternative or world where in that world gf actually dies and silly billy somehow comes to the original world and the reason why he looks like a crazy guy is because he is suffering from depression and mental Anxiety or something like that and when he says "I'll make you say how proud you are of me" he's meaning in his mic gfs sprite is in there and he's that to HER thanks for listening to me yap👁👄👁

You are right. Yourself nerfed his gf and put her into the mic. He also nerfed other characters most notably Dearest and Mearest. He was an angel, but now he's fallen (what a bozo) and honestly he might have been banished to that mirror world by God and the mirrors are symbolic. Putting it simply, this guy is EVIL!!! Baaaaaad Billy. Bbbaaaaaaaaaaaadddd. I'm not just saying this for the hell of it either there's quite a bit of evidence to imply he's evil. When Immutable Boy releases (there's a teaser out rn) and we see him tearing Herself's heart out everyone's gonna be like Markiplier when he witnesses the bite of 87.
