What if you made your train tracks into 2 concentric rings around the factory? The inside ring would basically be what you have now, and the outside ring would run on along the outside of your buildings. This would allow you to run more trains simultaneously, and it could also help transport items when you get more buildings and expand the factory area

how to fix train stops: place a train signal at the beginning and exit for each train location. the signals check ALL track ahead for a train and only stop checking once they spot another signal. (signals are just used to split up the rail network into segments which only allow 1 train on at a time so when you have 1 that can see the entire rail network round to the grinders from your main storage it will only let 1 train on until there is space by it entering the grinding stop) make sure to place some random signals in large straights on your track to help reduce chances of derailment

For the command center just use bottom slabs for the floor, then the slimes will be blocked from spawning and the ceiling for the bottom floor will be identical and you wouldn’t need to torch spam.
