I agree with you. Fines are huge and will keep speeding down. We are Canadiens and when driving in U.S. we are very careful. We got a fine twice going over limit rushing to Florida. It was each time $180.00 US plus CND exchange. Expensive!! I cried man it hurt. So we obey speed limit. If you decide not to pay your fine from Canada you are refused going ever back to U.S. so as soon as we came from Florida we ran to pay our fine. I got $120.00 once going over limit in Canada in 50km zone and it was going about 60 km nothing super huge. This makes you think twice. I always go on limit or at least go with the flow - same as other cars never faster.

It's just another way for the city to make money. Is there that much traffic to justify the cost of the cameras of which the taxpayer will pay for? And what's to prevent them from being vandalized ? Something to consider ? It's not answer.
