this is such a refresher from all the trauma induced characters. i get that trauma is the easiest way to create characters and it works, but having a happy go lucky and silly guy who constantly has a grin (atleast to an extent) like dude is so refreshing

I KNOW YOU WORKED TIRELESSLY ON THIS ANIMATION AND IT'S INCREDIBLE!! I'M VERY HAPPY TO SEE IT BE FINISHED AND I REALLY HOPE FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART THAT YOU TREAT YOURSELF TO SOMETHING GOOD AFTER THIS ❤️

After watching this animation, the first time it was an amazing experience, but I then I wanted to dig deeper into the story and its small details that was shown in this animation. First off, I love the direction of Dude's simple but effective story like an anime protagonist with him admiring RHG at a young age then growing up training to participate in those fights. The snip-bits of details I want to go over are: - First the parents of Dude. It is shown they both already know how to fight as they train their son. I would assume they were Duelists that fell in love than retired for their child. - Second, Dude's biggest inspiration or idol would be FLLFFL as shown at 1:19 where Dude is clutching onto a green figurine holding a sword which can be interpreted as FLLFFL. That same scene goes to show how much Dude cared for his idol when he died to Umbrella. It also shows at 2:25 - 2:30 where dude's expression and smile wavers down when confronting with FLLFFL. - Third would be the weapon similarity between Dude and his father being a cloth weapon. 1:25 showing Dude forming his hoodie into a wrist band and then into a whole stabby arm. As for the father it is at 3:45 where his bandana forms into a staff. This weapon was produced/made by the farther and gave it to Dude. - Fourthly is that the is father most likely a sort of sage/mage and the mother a Martial Artist. We will focus on the father because it makes more sense as to why Dude is fighting these well-known individuals such as Bog, FLLFFL, Shuriken, and Oreo. Dude's father is simply imitating these fighters to provide his son a verity of scenarios that he may encounter once he heads out to fight other Duelists. My main evidence for this is at 1:46 where in the place of the father yo-yo appears and they fight in the same dimension Dude trains, which a few seconds later Dude fights Umbrella. This does not mean Dude is more powerful than these individuals but rather they are just examples/practice for when he does face similar opponents. -Fifth and finally the connection with Guildedguy's symbol in Andre's eye from Ep 7. I find it interesting that you included this mainly in the context in Gildedguy's story Andre regrets founding the RHG since it killed many people and his own friends. I wonder if Dude will meet Andre in his story and possibly see RHG in a different light like how it was demonstrated with Gildedguy. Gildedguy and Dude do have the same idol and once admire RHG. Besides all that I am very excited to see where you take Dude. Your animation is absolutely great as well so I can't wait to see more if possible.

This is one of the greatest Hyun's Dojo animations I've ever seen I love how most of the duelists are fighting with happy faces, knowing how they are fighting simply for sport and having fun A few things I've noticed during the crying scene at 1:20, i was a bit confused on why, until I noticed he was holding an Alfa figurine. His death by Umbrella must have been discovered and made public, which DEVASTATED him as one of his greatest inspirations was murdered And when your guy DOES fight him at you'll see his arm disappear at 2:28, implying he's fighting his spirit or ghost, but is are having fun nonetheless I love how you even featured Andre since everything that happened in Gildedguy's story, since he wanted to end RHG, regretting founding it in the first place due to the violent bloodshed it's caused. Could probably lead a similar confrontation with how GG and Arzon did Those are just the few things i wanted to point out. Overall you have made an incredible and I look forward to seeing more. This is GOATED :)
