SCP-001 - When Day Breaks SCP-106

I am sure that while everyone is in panic and screaming in pain, SCP-106 is just sitting in a chair, eating popcorn and laughing about their suffering.

There is another story about what happened to The Old Man in a separate When Day Breaks take on it occurred...it shows him as a competent sort of angel, bringing a merciful death to humans who find him (any unmelted human, that is) which is far more peaceful to them than the horrors of the sunlight. The sunlight does indeed try to force its way into his domain, and he's powerful enough to kick its ass out. Remember, the sunlight even reanimated corpses, and he wanted the dead left to rest. There was some old woman SCP in there who came and went, and over time, she actually got him to speak for the first time in years.

It would be terrifying to see Scp 106 when day breaks at the same time as you cannot be in the light or the dark

Gosh, I hadn’t even thought about The Old Man in this apocalypse, God knows the invincible psycho would survive it.

If she can go to the surface, she might actually be able to trick 106 into going into the sunlight and melting. Then she would have a very tiny slight chance of surviving.

“Hey can we go outside?” “NO!” “Why?” “The Sun is a deadly laser.”

Too bad for those survivors, 106 didn't do it's random havoc on the foundation during the first day of When Day Breaks. Honestly I'm amaze it took a month for 106 to decide to break out. I would think he got excited and break out during the first day when everyone was in a panic. After all if there's one thing 106 loves as much as hearing others pain its fear and I'm sure there was plenty of both during the first few days of 'When Day Breaks'. Even with it's intellect 106 can't help but be drawn to those in age range in fear and panic.

When day breaks is just terrifyingly sad, imagine being stella, just doing a lemonade and then this happens…

I love the different perspectives given for 001. We’ve gotten one from regular society, SCP’s, from the foundation, and even from some who have no idea that it exists/happened. Kinda wonder what 682 would do, I imagine nothing and would just kinda sit there smiling

I just love how different SCPs, such as the Day Break scenario, can create infinite possibilities when combined with other SCP's. With a sort of multiverse being canon, I look forward to more scenarios to come.

Always lovely to see another tale in the When Day Breaks canon! That said, the ending for this one felt a bit unsatisfying without a conclusion, at least imo.

On SCP Illustrated's When Day Breaks canon, SCP-106 became known as the Angel of Darkness.

I'd watch an entire When Day Breaks TV series. Or an SCP-3008 series. Anything about groups of survivors in hostile anomalous worlds.

Worst part is is that dying to 106 is probarly a better death that to the sun.

One thing that could make these day breaks videos better is if they included the fact that plants are also affected by the sunx that’s why many interpretations of this 001 are devoid of plant life.

Meanwhile, 682 is lounging in a lawn chair with a glass of tea and wearing sunglasses.

Anybody ever consider how, given time, this will be pretty bad for a lot of places around the galaxy? It might take a while, but the sun's light will reach other worlds eventually.

scp-001 is the embodiment of parents telling you to go outside because the sun is shining

Can I just say how OP some SCP's are? Like, its the same thing every time, super dangerous SCP, everyone is scared, it escapes, nobody can kill it because it has biiiiiiig super powers and cannot die, kills 200+ people and then gets put back in containment. Its why I adore the plague doctor, he is dangerous, but cooperative, and not too OP, like 682 or 106.
