Hi Sharon at sea. My wife and I absolutely love to sail out of New Orleans. There is something amazing about sailing down the mighty Mississippi...
  • I couldn’t help but get excited from the beginning of this video…the music and “It’s cruise day!” from everyone (even if the girls tried to be so cool).😊 What a wonderful family adventure! Bon Voyage! Lois

I’ve been on 9 cruises and didn’t know family traveling with us could get a card for our room. Thank for sharing.
  • Great point Jamie the young ones are knocked out and the older people are ready to go !
  • Hi guys looks like an amazing time with family and friends and embarkation day so jealous Ask for sale the way ports. I enjoyed New Orleans just because a it’s the big easy and the way they turn around the ship and head down the Mississippi River slowly it’s just so cool just floating down the mighty Mississippi also, since this is my home port, I totally enjoy sailing out of San Francisco on the bay underneath the Golden Gate bridge
  • We love Frankie, he was our CD on the Miracle back in 2018 "Frankie the Tank - BOOP"
  • New Orleans is probably my favorite. For the first two hours you are cruising down the Mississippi River before reaching the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Tampa is nice too.
  • Miami is definitely a favorite sail away of ours. Embarking on Carnival Venezia in New York in two weeks. Can't wait for that sail away!
  • @markm9947
Sydney is an awesome sail away, followed by Miami. Leaving from New York in February

I love sailing out of Seattle. All the views of downtown are beautiful. Sailing out of Galveston later this month. I was super grateful for your video about sailing out of that port.

My favorite sail away port is definitely Miami! The beauty of the skyline and everything you pass by lasts 10 or 15 minutes before you get out to sea with the last image being South Beach itself. And so many people are on the shore waiving at the ship and even some holding up signs. Love it every time! And New Orleans is probably number 2 because of sailing down the river which is so unique. But so many of the others are very industrial and not quite what you picture in your mind.
  • Buffalo trace for the win! It is by far one of the best under $30a bottle bourbons out there.
  • Great video guys! Love the content & the feel of being right there with you all. Our favorite sailaway is Baltimore, mostly because it's our homeport. Only an hour drive from home but we've done NYC & being originally from Brooklyn NY it's awesome going back. But getting there is a cluster. No parking if we would drive & hotels are outrageous. We will be on the Pride in Nov 2024 to the Southern Carib when she is homeported back in Baltimore. We were just on Legend in January, one of its other "sisters". Love the smaller ships. Just wish there were more of them. Hope she's still in good shape by then. LOL!

I think the "mellow" sail away is more usual from ports in the UK. I have only sailed from Southampton. Yes, there's music and yes, the crew are dancing and whipping up enthusiasm, but the passengers just sway to the music and walk around the deck, talking and having a laugh. We're definitely all excited and eager, though perhaps not quite as exuberant as in America. I've sailed many times from Dover to Calais on hols and the White Cliffs never failed to inspire awe.
  • One of the young girls looked like she wanted to be anywhere but on the ship. Sorry I had never seen her on your videos so I don’t know her name . Jamie you’re always the rock star !
  • The UK is amazing! Chasidy and I are considering doing something like this for our anniversary. Thank you for taking us along!
  • I found that the cruise directors on carnival were seen more often and more involved than the cruise director on Royal Caribbean. We only saw him on the tv in the morning
