Owner: "Don't show the plaque with my name". Also owner: appears and talks in the video
  • @capybara1555
Doug’s the type of person to read his child car manuals at night as a bedtime story
  • You can tell Doug isn't a drinker. The little metal demons are for chilling your drink without melting ice. They are supposed to be kept in the freezer. Likewise with the "little bottle" which was the cap for the decanter. Lol.
  • @MrReese
"The owner doesn't want to reveal his name". 10 minutes later: "I am here with the owner " lol.
  • @IR123
16:17 the silver demon heads are used to chill whatever drink you put it in, kind of like ice cubes.
  • @LtNduati
The flashback to Doug's experience with streetspeed 717's hellcat was gold
  • "Cool car. How many horsepower?" "1000 hp. It's the fastest challenger ever. Quite possibly the last of its kind. An American icon. A legend.” "What's with the yellow color?" "Uh... corn."
  • Imagine paying $145,000 for a car and the general public still thinks you have a low credit score 😂
  • Doug's the type of guy who owns cars worth more than most people are, but doesn't recognize how a crystal decanter works.

Fun fact about the sunroof costing $10k. The reason dodge did it is because they REALLY didn’t want people getting a sunroof for weight and center of gravity purposes, but knew some buyers wouldn’t get one without it. In addition, the wheels on the demon are so expensive that dodge sells a low-optioned demon at a loss. To solve both issues, they made a super expensive sunroof that would pay for the wheels on ~3-4 non-sunroofed demons.

@16:17 Those are chillers Doug so that way you won't use ice in your alcoholic drinks since they can melt and water down the drink
  • @Mico605
Those steel demon heads in the alcohol box are used as drink chillers. You put them in fridge/freezer to get cold instead of ice cubes and put them in your drink. They are used because they do not dilute the drink like ice does.

Fun drinking game, every time Doug says 170 you take a shot. Trust me, you won’t last until the end of the video
  • @Axelstudio_
The best Doug videos are when he is genuinely taken aback by the vehicle he is reviewing. His enthusiasm takes him off the script for just pure driving love
  • I believe the Demon 170 is the only model that has the wide-body fenders in the rear but not up front
  • Here’s a sense of perspective for why this video was so late. I work at a dealer, won’t say where. I know we definitely had one come in for sale, maybe 2 or 3 just where I’m at. These cars were so sought after that we weren’t allowed to take pictures of them for fear of them being leaked on the internet and being traced back to us. We didn’t want people to know that we had these cars even within the area. They’re such high theft targets. It’s not like they’re running different anti theft systems than normal hellcats and even v6 cars. Now all the owners have them and hopefully they keep them in garages and are only taken to the track. But Doug had to find an owner and I’m sure everyone just wanted their new car to be safe. Ultimately this owner Doug found is an old friend who has trust in Doug. Badass car, I hope he stays safe and enjoys it
  • “And you also have a smaller bottle included..” LMAO. C’mon Doug 🤦‍♂️ 😂
