When I first saw the photo, I immediately saw the New 52 inspiration. It was funny that I saw memes with Goku and Vegeta fighting in the background

I dont think its darker. The legs are very bright blue. It's more of the battle damage that kinda make the blue fade away.

Holy crap- by FAR the BEST video reaction/breakdown/whatever you want to call it out there after this suit reveal….you gave us a literal breakdown of the suit, what you like, what you don’t like, even a history of past suits and further explained things rather than just 💩 on it like others did. Thank you for this amazing standard of what a breakdown video ought to be. It was refreshing to watch!

Honestly, I kinda just can’t believe we’re seeing actual stuff from the DCU. Like, I know we have that one Creature Commandos image, and we’ve had plenty of news, but to see something this real and tangible is really exciting. As for the suit itself, I think it’s alright. It’s growing on me the more I see it. Love the hair though.

I like that it literally has the " This looks like a job for Superman" energy

Superman Returns and Routh were definitely underrated. Still one of my favorite comic superhero films.

I love it! I heard someone complain saying it looks like Cap’s suit from Winter Solider but I think that makes sense because it is most likely a military suit from Krypton.

People think Superman must always be happy and smiling. I like to see him pissed off/tired he must to deal with another villain today again. He is allowed to feel basic human feelings.

the more i look at it the more i really like it. i don’t think this suit will last long, probably a one film suit. i can’t wait to see Hawkgirls suit and even more Guy Gardners

looks like he’s tired and been in battle but puts the boots back on cause the world needs him, that’s selflessness and heroism

I don't like the excessive lines and panels on the suit but hopefully it looks better in the movie i widh the colours were brighter as well

Also don’t forget the original picture reveal of the logo in the snow. That’s shows a small bit of what the blue will look like in the daylight of the sun.

It seems this photo reveals the tone of the movie. Superman starts in the movie feeling he's one of many superheroes... his taking his time putting his suit, maybe because the kame kame ha in the backround is being managed by the authority. But at the end of the movie, he will find the spark that makes him SUPERMAN and will become the luminous hero we already know and love. His lower body is iluminated and his upper body is darkened... from the damage of previous fights. That gives the message that his roots, his values are of superman but we will see his heart conflicted in this movie and him finding a way to heal and grow.

U think Gunn would release that photo, and it be like the last shot of the movie? That's my guess, a tease of brainiac for the last shot of the movie with a tired supes putting his boots back on after just taking them off.

I want to share my experiece on this, the first time i saw the suit it left me with the feeling of confusion, i don’t know how to react to it, i had mixed feeling about it and i still had it untill now, but now i realize that i think maybe i got too excited about this and my hope for James to get everything right is high because of all the stuff regarding superman or dcu that James put out on social media, every update give me hope of like okay they will do it right this time, but then i saw this reveal i’m not gonna lie i feel a little bit let down by it and now i think i will down all my expectation or hope on this and just wait and see what James and the team made.
