Noob Saibot first appeared in Mortal Kombat 2 as a secret non playable character. You could fight him if you won 50 matches in a row. His name is the backwards spelling of the last names of the games creators, Ed Boon and John Tobias. In the MK lore - Noob Saibot is a Netherrealm wraith and cult member of 'The Brotherhood of Shadow'. The cult worshipped a fallen elder god who was later revealed to be Shinnok (one of MK's primary villians). Its also revealed that Noob Saibot is actually Bi-Han, the first Sub Zero, who was killed in the first tournament by Scorpion. He was resurrected by Quan Chi and Shao Kahn. In life he was a cold blooded assassin, in death he is an antagonist to most, but especially Hanzo Hasashi (Scorpion) and his younger brother Kuai Liang (the current Sub Zero and Lin Kuei Grandmaster). He was pulled into Quan Chi's 'Soulnado' but managed to survive. In MK11 he resurfaced as Kronika's servant with increased power and his own agenda...
