OK, but why was the “baby crying” such a powerful sound effect?

This chapter was absolutely gut-wrenching to read, Isayama never holds back and this proves it. I haven't felt this sense of dread reading this since the very beginning of the anime. The imagery portrayed here is very bone-chilling, with how innocent lives are reacting to the Rumbling. The thought of being absolutely helpless with nowhere to run to while you watch your impending death walk towards you is just.. haunting.

The whole entire world now really regrets what they've done. Some things are left to be forgotten and people should move on. But the world just kept sending hatred on paradis until the embodiment of that hatred came back to pay them. And there's no point in begging for forgiveness because they've ignored all the warnings and there is no going back. And the sad thing is, Eren knows what he's doing is wrong and he hates it but he's doing this because this is his fate, he has to keep moving forward and he keeps convincing himself that he's doing the right thing.

Oommggg congrats for your job and thank you. This will be traumatic when it gets animated...

4:34 Mulller's speech really tugs at the Heartstrings. But it's exactly what I've been saying this whole time as well. The Marleyans and the rest of the nations of the world had this coming for relying on their hatred. They couldn't rise above their former oppressors and ultimately decided to do the same to them and it came back to bite them big-time. Now Eren Jaeger is coming to judge them for their sins and send them onto the great hereafter. Hatred only breeds more hatred.
