  • Great awning copy of the ostrich wing I installed mine with quick release brackets so it doesn’t spend all its time on the vehicle allowing access to undercover car parks The arms are also individually replaceable if one gets bent

Cheers Cam, another great video mate and just wanted to say it was great to catch up with you at the Perth 4x4 show. My 9yr old son Liam really enjoyed talking to you and thanks for answering the 3000 questions he asked you about your canopy build an dthe car. All the best to you, Tiff and family.

I hade my 2.7m for a couple of years, use it nearly everyday at work. I found that the lights from kings in their lighting kit slide into the grooves in the extrusions on the arms perfectly.
  • @Sawadventures67
Love my 30 second awning had it for over six years never had any trouble with it Only thing might have to look at getting a new cover starting to show the signs of the sun cheers thanks for sharing I didn’t know you could get a smaller one
  • @krismezza
Picked up a 2.7m awning the other week, installed it yesterday. Cheers for the 5% discount Cam, legend. I ended up getting the Kaon brackets for it, as it uses 3 of them, spreads the weight between two rungs of my Rhino Pioneer, and i can adjust the height to suit. All up, it's solid as, I have no worries now with going over corrugations and something shearing/snapping. So much easier than my other 2.5m x 2.5m awning, which was a pain to put up solo, even worse if a little breeze about
  • Great awning. Had mine for a few years now. Have been thinking about the walls. Glad u showed them on this video clip. Definitely a future purchase I think. 👍
  • @omeba600
Brought the 2.7m awning last year from your reviews. Love it! On a dualcab and happy with the size. We use it heaps and the ease of setup means it gets opened even for a coffee stop. Great to see the shorter version though.
  • @comisari38
nice Awning one of the better one i've seen
  • @philsymons9614
Crackin vid Cam, straight up no sugar coated crap, keep up the awesome honest reviews mate
  • Thanks for the review I will be putting one of these, probably 2.7M, on my IEOS Grenadier when it arrives
  • @louiskudlak2241
Great looking product buddy, lov the free standing, great walls as well, cheers buddy
  • Good honest informative review mate. Classic dad humour with the chin ups at the end😂😂 Keep up the good work.
  • @Phil_McAvity
Regarding the bag, you said it’s your fault. Well it’s not really. If they’re designing a awning to put on the side of a 4WD then surly it’s up to them to do the research & product testing to gain the knowledge. The knowledge being 4WDs are put through their paces and are exposed to all weather conditions and overgrown tracks, therefore a need to create a hard & robust bag/cover to protect the awning while not in use & traveling.
  • @iangray63
Cheers Cam great info, I’ll put it on my list.
  • @markpalmer5787
Cheers Cam, great video. Loved the little sound bite at the end. Oh and your fitness regime, I can see your in peak physical fitness 🤣🤣. Easy to set up and pack away too. Cheers Mark...
  • @mnixon8163
I'm guessing the folding bracket is to fold the whole setup back on top of the roof rack for narrow tracks etc? That is such a great idea although it makes me a little worried about how easily it could be stolen by removing only 2easy to access bolts??
  • @AdventuringPals
Righto. You’ve convinced me to add this to the wish list haha. Thanks for the discount code.
  • I also have a 2.1 metre awning. Its very easy to set up. I purchased the quick release brackets which I’m not that fussed about, I think there are probably better versions of the quick release system available but the awning is great
  • Just found your channel. We are looking to get one of these for our Prado 150. The wall option looks great I notice one end is open, can you get a wall for that end as well. It looks like all the walls on the 2.7m are the same length. On your video the 2.1m sections looks to be different widths. Is this the case or just the distortion from the camera? How has it stood up over time? If you are still watching the comments can I ask a few questions that I cant find answers for on their site I need my Prado 150 to be below 2.1 meters for parking lots and still be able to open the side door. Can you let me know the mounting hole vertical centres & the backbone height. Plus the distance from the top bolt channel centre to the top of the bag and the depth of the bag. From another video I saw it looks like the is more bag below the bottom of the backbone than the top. I presume the 2.1 meters is the length of each are? or is it the full length of the unit/bag when in stored position. If it fits my vehicle requirements I think I will get one of these.

Mate great bit of kit... certainly a fair difference to the ole kings cheapies!
