As the only child of a murdered officer this was very hard to watch I was only 9 when my dad was killed in the line of duty and I can still remember my mother crumbling to the floor in tears when the uniformed officer came to our house that morning and spiraling into a deep depression for years after that my father was her world and it was only after his killer was executed that she finally let go of the resentment she held on to she never remarried and when I told her I was going to be a cop like dad she was totally against it

On behalf of fallen officers and there surviving families. RIP. Thank you for your service and protection. Non fiction or fiction. It happens. God bless you all.

I love to watch Dean Stockwell! He is a seasoned actor who can play any role. Even as a child actor he was better than many adult actors! Thanks for this movie!

An excellent film. The scene where James is shot down when getting into the car and his gorgeous little boy made me cry. That little boy's facial expressions and his acting pulled at my heartstrings. The killer deserved nothing less than the death penalty. Thanks very much for uploading, Films 4 You, and I might add the quality of this film is also excellent.

It’s a great film. Mind you it was filmed almost 3 decades ago so we will view it as having some cheesy elements. Taking myself back to the 80’s, I would say it is a great movie.

Definitely an older movie. It was interesting to see actors playing supporting parts that would later become well-known stars. It was a sad movie but compelling and held my interest through every scene. This is a 👏👏👏 movie. Well worth watching.

This film hit me close to home. The nature of the terror that this kind of criminal manifests is why the law enforcement officials need to stand strong. The officers are soldiers fighting for our rights and for our freedom. We should never settle for terrorism as a way of life. Never settle for that.

I think everyone should learn from this story specially the children how their parents always love them whether the father works at police departments or not, Wife is the only one best friend ever because husband's bad or good never changes wife's decision to fight back and face the worst situation for her husband, mindblowing ever remembering story 🙏

The man was a deranged monster and i hope hes not alive now. When the cops were all running behind the boy riding his new bday bike i burst into tears. It was a bittersweet moment. The death penalty should be in every state. Once convicted ,30 days to carry out execution. For all those who serve and protect us and esp to the families who have lost loved ones in the line of duty i say thank you from the bottom of my heart for your work and sacrifices. It seems these days that our officers have targets on them as soon as they put their uniforms on..thats just wrong! Our society protects the criminals more than the victims. This must change.

Wow! This is a really well-made movie. I can't remember when I last watched such a good cop movie. Maybe that's because they don't make them like this anymore. Great cast, not big stars but honest good actors who take a decent script and uplift it to something memorable. Great production and editing too. I don't think anyone could remake this better than it is. Thank you for uploading this, F4Y.

I cried for his kids; and knowing that these are based on real events made it all the more hearbreaking. I just hope his family is in a better space now.

Such a brilliant film I cried so much for those kids especially the little boy, he reminded me of one of my Grandsons. So heart breaking, but justice was served to an evil man.
