Fun Fact: I died during this mission. Not to the big brute. Not to the guys with guns. Not because I missed a jump when climbing back up to the plane. No, I died because, after the plane got ripped apart, I didn't realize that I had control of Nate again and I just sailed right past the crate with the parachute. The graphics were so good and the transitions between gameplay and cutscene were so freakin' smooth that I legitimately thought I was still in cutscene. It absolutely blew my tiny little 14-year-old mind 😄
  • I'm so grateful these games are part of my childhood, I couldn't have asked for a better series to grow up too. Brings back a lot of good memories

gotta appreciate the dedication of that goon who tried to shoot at Nathan while he's also falling out of the plane. That's a very professional goon.
  • Thinking about it, Nathan risked destroying an entire plane just to take out one guy

The Uncharted games are the most exciting to play!

My second favorite franchise ever. I really hope we get more Uncharted games in the future. I would love a Sam and Sully adventure.

You can’t title a game as the “Best Scene in Gaming History” without the music.

Stunning game, Stunning chapter. Still looks amazing. Naughty dog are in a class of there own!! Can't wait to see what they are cooking up on PS5:)
  • Uncharted is my favourite action adventure game. The gameplay is fantastic. This plane scene reminded me the final plane fight scene in 007 The Living Daylights.

Around the time this game came out, I’d mostly been playing games on the Xbox 360, the first console I bought for myself after high school. The games I had were really good but the Assassin’s Creed games were my favorite series of games to play. After having my Xbox for about a year or so, I played a demo of this game at Best Buy a bunch of times and thought it was cool. And I bought a steelbook edition of the game when I heard that my step brother bought a PS3, hoping I’d be able to play it but wasn’t able to. So I bought my own brand new PS3; the slim model with the sliding disc cover. I popped that disc into the console and spent days on it. After finishing it, I bought the other two games and played those, as well. I sold my Xbox 360 and had been a PlayStation gamer ever since. This is my favorite game in the franchise and one of my favorite games of all time now. Thanks, Naughty Dog, for convincing me to switch to PlayStation with this awesome game!

I felt playing the uncharted series again and this is one of It's reasons
  • I remember crawling in this scene at the start and being shocked at that baddie just catching me and grabbing me lool thought I did something wrong and started the mission again just to make sure . Graphically one of the most spectacular ps3 games visually at the time not to mention great gameplay and story . Such an iconic mission.

Graphics still holds up. Naughty dog is the master of playstation.
  • I platinumed this again in a new account yesterday and was left reminiscing how I felt when this game hit the PS3 in 2011. So much love for these games, ND was a true pioneer when it came to the PS2/PS3 era. Insomniac is carrying that torch now for PS4 and PS5.

What I hated about UC3 was half the time the enemies don't flinch when being shot at, it's like they have super armor. It killed the illusion for me and it harder difficulty modes it made it unrealistically difficult. Just watch the video again and see how enemies react when getting shot.

I played it on my PS3, and I don't think I took more than 3 breaths through the entire part and felt like I just ran 10 miles in 5 min.... Love this series
