What an incredible moment this could be. Light No Fire has a classic fantasy charm to it that I haven’t felt in a really long time. Not to mention the scale and ambition of this project makes me excited in itself. I wish Hello Games the best for this project!

i never got to experience the hype for NMS in 2013 due to my young age of 11, and limited access to the internet. But when i first played NMS after the beyond update dropped, i had completely fell in love with the game and HelloGames as a studio. I remember thinking to myself "wouldn't it be awesome if HelloGames made a fantasy, exploration, rpg on one world and similar to NMS." Now at the age of 21 I can experience the Hype.

Am sooooo freaking proud of Hello Games! I remember standing by them when all the false accusation befell them and I was mocked and practically bullied for it. I always told them be patient, good things are coming and holy smoking skies it did. HG is officially my favorite dev team and I wish the best. Thanks HG for everything! :)

I'm buying this on release, especially knowing No Man's Sky's journey. I got that about a year after, when people were saying it was mid. They weren't wrong at the time, but now No Man's Sky is a legitimately great game worth the $60, and I kind of hope this game starts off poorly so Hello Games gets known as the most hardworking and honest developer out there

The thing about NMS is it had several years post release to continue development to finally get a cohesive and high quality experience several years after release. Don't get me wrong I love NMS and I'm a huge fan of Hello Games, just hoping the day one experience of LNF is only after extensive bug testing and in house beta testing to make sure the core gameplay loop is fun and exploration feels rewarding. I'm looking forward to it.

For scale, the main map of Skyrim is about 37 square kilometers, while the actual Earth has a surface area of over 500 million square kilometers, with a circumference of just over 45 thousand kilometers. Needless to say, if the world in LNF really is at that scale, no one will be circumnavigating it any time soon. I mean, it took Magellan (or his surviving crew) three actual years to sail all the way around.

I'm ready for their next iteration, Light No Man's Fire in the Sky, a game that combines the universe generation of No Man's Sky and the detailed world generation of Light No Fire.
