HOW TO SPEAK IN TONGUES - POWERFUL AND PRACTICAL TEACHING 🙏

The enemy will lie to you by saying that you are not doing it correctly. Don't listen to his lies. Years ago the way I got definite confirmation was that I fell very ill and I was not conscious of my environment nor could I communicate yet I was awake. I was told afterwards that in the Doctor's waiting room that I was speaking in tongues (which I don't remember at all). That made me realize how amazing the Holy Spirit is, because he took over on my behalf and helped me pray when I could not.

I hadn't heard of tongues until months after I was born again. I knew I had the Holy Spirit at that point and prayed to NOT have the gift of tongues. I come from a new age background with all kinds of demonic experiences. It scared me that another spirit might come through. Then about 1.5 years later, I started feeling convicted for putting restrictions on gifts the Spirit may want to give me. I studied but could see validity in interpretations by people for and against it. I dug into what was blocking me. It was no longer a fear of a different spirit, but I was afraid of having a fake tongue and being a fool before God. Then I made a decision: I would rather be a fool WITH faith, than a fool WITHOUT faith. So I just prayed that the Holy Spirit would come through and started doing it. I still didn't have a lot of confidence at first. Then the 2nd or 3rd time I tried it, something weird happened...I found myself SINGING in tongues. It was so joyful! I almost never sing usually. This was out of character for me. I continued practicing praying in tongues when I had faith to do so and began noticing a strengthening happening in my day to day life. It was changing me for the better. With this, I began truly taking ownership of tongues. I hope this helps someone who is also worried about looking foolish to God. Have faith! If you have the Holy Spirit, he will pray with you and through you. God bless.

This was so powerful to watch! Tongues is a real and powerful gift. A much needed reminder was the point about Spiritual warfare. As Christians, God has given us great weapons! We cannot fight in our own strength, we need the weapons of the Spirit.

Thank you for this teaching. I was raised Baptist and we didnt believe in it, but deep in my mind I didnt feel that was correct. Felt something in me rising up and wanting to come out but I guess I wouldn’t let it. We were just taught it was a language that someone else HAD to interpret. I KNEW there was something more, including deliverance, tongues and healing. I went to a Pentecostal tent meeting as a YOUNg child and NEVER forgot it!! I now speak in tongues and cast out demons! PRAISE GOD IM NOT DENYING THE POWER THERE OF!!

My husband was in chapel in the school we went to before and spoke out loud about 25 years ago and one of the other students (who was from Africa) said..ahhh..your speaking Fra Fra..you just said the glory is coming down. I've always been blessed by that. My husband is a pastor and I would love to have Torben to come up and visit the church. I just feel like his ministry will charge the church.

I have followed what you said at the end. I just said a few words out loud... I just faught in my mind that I should at least start by a few words, any words. I had to "block" my mind. And then, after a moment, suddenly, I could'nt stop saying things... my lips were totally shaking... I've been caughting a lot in the same time, I don't know why.... So, thank you Lord for your messengers! I've been waiting for this for so long! I've never faught of such a breakthrough in my life just by watching a video! Believe me, no one is left out by God!!

I thank our Lord Jesus for people like you sir. This broke erverything open. I was in doubt about my tongues if I have received it years ago in Isreal but now I now I did because the Holy Spirit reminded me that its the same now as its was then. Sadly I didnt use it. But now I know the truth and Im speaking in tongues. What a awesome brake through that God did in my life today.
