I was privileged to visit Arlington in March. This devotion to duty in honoring these fallen heroes is one of the things that makes this country the greatest in the world.

i was there last week with Honor flight.. and one of the guards slightly stumbled on his words.. what happens? i'm sure he is beating himself up about it.. BUT one of the vets we traveled with is a former guard and when asked what happens his response was "i wouldn't want to be him tonight" so leads one to ask what "opportunity for improvement" will he recieve?

This is not uncommon and I have seen it a few times, the sentinel is expected to have perfect appearance so the inspection is not just for show.
