There's absolutely nothing strange about having this baby donkey in the house. He is PRECIOUS, beautiful and a happy little donkey, even though he had a hair raising start. He's so small. Donkeys are bad ass. They are fiercely protective they’ve been known to chase off packs of wolves. Incredibly loyal.

I've learned so much about Donkey behavior by watching videos like this. My grandparents had Donkey and Mules but we were forbidden to interact with them too much and weren't allowed in the enclosures they were kept in. The Mules were used for farming, they pulled the wagons and plows my Grandfather used to work the fields. The donkeys would always carry on and run over to see us when we came. All I was ever told was that they would bite and kick so we couldn't go the pins to pet them. But looking at how sweet they are and how they just want attention and closeness like any other animal makes it easy to see them in a completely different light. Cash is such an adorable little guy. I guess his Mother didn't want him because he came too soon and she thought he couldn't survive. It was very fortunate that you and your husband showed up in time to save his precious little life. He acts so grateful to be alive. Bless his little heart.
