We take out our BRAND NEW Boat Camper on a remote lake in the Chippewa National Forest in Minnesota! This is a 16 foot aluminum fishing boat that I redesigned and built a cabin on top of to be able to explore lakes and spend the night out on the water. We explore the islands of this lake, go for a hike on the mainland, do some fishing, have a campfire and hunker down inside the cozy cabin for a rainstorm.

Love that sound of an aluminum boat hull just floating on the water. So relaxing.

The sounds of the water hitting the boat brought me back to days gone by when my parents and I would go fishing in Minnesota. I'd give anything to have those days back. Just to hear that sound once more before I die.

Kind of what I always wanted. A well-equipped "cabin cruiser" for fishing and camping on lakes and rivers. You're living the dream. Doesn't take a very big boat for you to load up all the comforts.

Ellie does need a good bed to sleep on. Nothings more peaceful then watching a sleeping dog. They give you such a good feeling inside like all right with the world at that moment.
