  • 😎 1st time ever hearing them concert in Hawaii 1973. Ten rows back. Kenny Loggins with Jimmy Messina 'SITTIN' IN'. Blown away !! Been listening ever since. Top duo for sure !

Jim Messina's voice is sooo good. Love how he brings that touch of country twang to this killer R&B rock&roll jam.
  • @BurrEyeN
That was great! The guitar and sax solos were excellent, and then came the flute, what a treat! Loved the 5 string bass. This was a real crowd pleaser performance for sure!

Bellissima versione di Angry Eyes. Wonderful music when I was teenager, still wonderful.. Messina is the best.

  • @parttime9070
Saw them two times, once in Oakland and then up at the Mountain Air Festival in CA..
  • Love no shirt, no tattoos, no earrings, look like masculine men..and of course the incredible music..

The biggest change, and in a bad way, is 21st century pop music has eliminated the instrumental sections of songs 😢

I wonder if Kenny left L&M out of jealousy of Messina. Messina was a hunk the ladies loved him, frankly I think they were better together than apart.
  • This had to be 76. Vince Denham on the sax solo. Jon Clarke on that fabulous flute solo. Kenny not on guitar cuz he was recovering from shoving an exacto knife into his arm.
