login rewards are the first step of micro transactions so im soooo worried about this
  • @OpalBecsDreamer
log in rewards? interesting move from the game which is infamous for people saying 'i play for 2 weeks straight then don't touch it again for 6 months'
  • @maddies144
Here’s my pitch: If you want to reward active players, it makes more sense to have permanent unlockable assets for time played. 100 hours a t shirt, 1000 hours a new bed and dresser, etc. They’re always available, and it’s way more accessible for your average sims players who does binge gaming on the weekends instead of daily logins.

I so deeply value Kayla's advocacy for players without money readily available (e.g. with expansion pack limited-time rewards) or the capacity to regularly log into the game (e.g. to miss out on these new login rewards). The game is really starting to feel icky in its object exclusivity and ultimately it makes the overall gaming experience feel less fun for me personally - either because I feel like I'm missing out on something, or feel guilty because I have something many players don't have the option of having anymore.
  • If they wanted a “loyalty reward” system, I’d prefer if it was based on number of logins without being time sensitive. So a new player in a year would start with the same rewards we start with now and you can get more rewards the more you play but you never “miss out” because you can just keep playing. And some people are just “further” in the progression tree.

The login rewards are insane and awful. This isn’t a mobile game, I shouldn’t have to log in a certain amount. Especially if they’re adding things that effect gameplay like traits. No one should miss out on stuff because they’re busy or don’t feel like turning on their computer/console multiple times a week. They could literally just add it as sdx drops. This is actually ridiculous.
  • @MissKashira
Login rewards is a terrible idea for a game where you can share builds and characters. The people who missed out for whatever reason will have gaps in shared content that they can't fix no matter how much they are willing to pay. It's bad enough to be faced with decisions like "either I buy this pack or this build has no kitchen," or "either I buy this kit or this build has no windows" but now there is just stuff you'll never be able to get no matter what.

Login in rewards would be okay IF (only IF) at the start of the next month, everyone gets the remaining items. So like you get early access by logging in daily. And that's it
  • @SensaXd
The day Dine Out is fixed is the day I actually believe they care. That pack has been broken for so long and I wishhhhh it worked.
  • i hate the log in rewards, i work full time and can't play video games every single day. i wish these were just sdx drops
  • @ash.--.
Daily login? I leave my game untouched for months even a year and then binge play for 1-3 months. I’m sure a lot of people have a similar habit because hello, we have lives. I don’t even open my personal email daily. It’s definitely optics for them. Why do they want to track the amount of daily users?
  • @Michelle_Vargo_
I completely agree with all the comments. I play the Sims to unwind because I have a very high stress job and the idea of daily rewards is not fun to me it's just stressful. It very much feels like not being able to get the hotdog costume hat because I started playing the sims 4 too late and now it's no longer available. I've essentially spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars for a game that is turning into having pop-up ads. The shopping cart button addition infuriated me and now this? Why can it not just be enough to let us buy the packs and play our game in peace.
  • @unknowable4147
I am scared for Project Renée. I don't want daily rewards, I want to have a stable game.
  • @burpingcricket
I hate the time sensitive stuff. I literally play the sims because it’s one of few games that doesn’t have to be stressful and now I’m going to feel like I am being punished for not stressing and only logging in when I have time to actually play. Absolutely hate it!
  • @curtisharron
I feel like maybe after the 4/5 week period of daily rewards, they should just release all of them to everyone at the end like "if you play every day, you will get access to the items earlier, but don't worry if you miss a day or two" and maybe the same with the early access stuff from pre-ordering packs. It's obviously an incentive to pre-order and get it earlier, but they should just give the items to everyone who owns the pack after a certain period of time like 6 months or so. It would still be an incentive to buy the pack early, but you wouldn't completely miss out on the items.

I just don’t understand why they haven’t done any more pack refreshes. It was such a big hit the first time and it was received super well, and they haven’t done it since. They need to fix all the old expansion packs, game packs and everything before releasing even more bugged content :(
  • @tabethaa4063
I dont know how I feel about the apology. Sims 4 feels like a toxic gastlighting bf. Empty promises to change, doesn't follow through, ignores concerns to make me feel like it's my fault lol😅
  • @UnassumingLlama
Daily login rewards are so stupid. We need to complain about it to get them to change it. We did it with the flashing cart (although it’s still annoying, at least it isn’t blinking), added skin tones, and more representation. We did it before, we can do it again
  • @angelaaaak
There’s a glitch! The reward items are in the game. If you filter the objects (bar, trash can, etc.) by color, you can see them!😅
  • @realfakejayme
oh my gosh, i opted into directx (i do not use mods) and it completely changed the way the game runs for me. i play on a very basic, mid-grade laptop that typically sounds like a jet engine and runs kind of sluggishly... the directx made it run so well that i was able to set the graphics from 'very low' to 'high'! i definitely recommend people who don't use mods/cc to look into it for themselves and see if it might be a good choice!
