I don't really have a strong opinion either way, but I can't disagree with you, Grand Master. Except, even Ric Flair would be right this time. Valentina didn't really "beat" Grasso. It was just a real close fight. For the algorithm.

Although that fight was close, I think that Valentina should have gotten the decision and the 10/8 scoring of the 5th round was absolutely ridiculous!

That wasn't the 10-8 we wanted, but it was the 10-8 we deserved...

My take is: never mind the numbers in the score cards, the fight looked even, it looked like a draw, so calling it a draw was at least acceptable. People are putting a lot of emphasis on Valentina's ground control time, but they're ignoring that Grasso did more damage when she was on the ground. Specially the up kick to the face.
