NOTE:mentioned in the video but to reiterate here, the wait times with the pin are often very very long - we left some of them in, but edited the rest to make the video watchable but I also want it to feel accurate (thank you to the couple people that commented about this I appreciate you) and so want to make sure itā€™s re clarified here that the waits with questions are often quite long Thank you so much for watching this one!! Took a while to make - the next video will be the Rabbit R1 pin and thatā€™ll come out a lot quicker :))) Also! humane just announced they are sending out an update, Iā€™m going to test it and will pin this comment with any updated experiences I have from it Hope you have a magic day! Thank you for being here

This review basically asked you to forget that smart phones and smart watches exist and that they can get the exact same features with a single software update.

Great video! Your positivity is so infectious šŸ˜ƒ

I agree with another comment mentioning the editing out of the wait times. You do mention the long waits sometimes, but it is a little misleading for viewers...

Is it possible to change the color of the laser? Some people don't see certain colors as well, which is why I am asking. I still see so much potential for this in the accessibility market. A little development would take this product so far in helping people with visual and hearing disabilities, cognitive disabilities, as well as helping senior citizens in just about every aspect of their daily lives, like with the memory recall. Imagine this reminding someone that happens to be a little forgetful to take a pill at a specific time of day. Telling someone where a particular item is in a grocery store isle, like Kroger or Food Line. Or someone with Alzheimer's, this could be used to locate a person or call out for help if they aren't in a specific location by a certain time. So amazed by the descriptive ability of the device to describe the surroundings and traffic conditions! Keep up the absolutely amazing work, Jacklyn!
  • Iā€™ve never seen this little pin before, but thatā€™s super, super neat!

Good review. I have some questions though. Is the laser display bright enough to be used in a sunny environment, since a probable use case, atheletes, would be using that in bright outdoor environments? Can you connect it to wireless earphones? Also, can you change the laser color so that those finding hard to read blue text might switch to high wavelength colors like Red.

I watch quite a lot of review and I have to say you're super talented, Jacklyn. I love your videos, it bring some fresh air to the sometimes dull cliches.
  • @hreedwork
Thank you for your honest review with real world usage šŸ˜Ž
  • You really nailed this one Jacklyn. The tech is promising, but just not quite ready for prime time. Probably the best video on this subject. Well done šŸ‘šŸ»

Watched three reviews of this product. All of them, including yours, left me with the same thought. It seems like it could be a hit but they've GOT to smooth some stuff out.

Great review with real world examples. I agree that this product needs refinement and a price adjustment. It has future promise, especially the ā€œwhat do you seeā€ feature as an aid t to he visually impaired..
