  • Ochako talking to Toga and offering her the empathy, mercy and kindness that was so cruelly deprived from her is way more powerful than any quirk, and that made me cry. Fuck the powers and fights, im here for the complex characters and nuanced storytelling and worldbuilding.
  • What a quirk awakening! Also, love the frame of little Uraraka extending her arm to little Himiko. They both look so cute! And poor little Toga is crying 😢

Empathy is seriously what separates Class 1-A from everyone else. Way to defy the laws of physics Ochako!
  • I’ve never doubted Ururaka. Bakugo foreshadowed how incredible her potential was all the way back at the summer festival. It’s been a long wait but I’m glad I get to see her show her true potential.

I guess her float ability isnt just a flot but now GRAVITY so in my head this quirk awkening is called "gravity shift"
  • @mochipaige9169
The fact that shes fighting so many clones and suddenly she floated EVERYONE i mean EVERYONE thats my girl! big moment, Big shine, and Big help to every hero needed! thats why shes one of the most powerful!

I feel like Urarakas quirk awakening is similar to Shigaraki's in that, anyone who is touching anything is affected by the quirk, yes, it's weird that all she did was put her hand up, but it's either everyone touching, or it's everyone and everything in a radius around her that she could eventually control
  • I'm so proud of Uraraka! Also, I can't wait until Deku sees her progress, he's gonna be so happy for her.
  • She has been inspired by Dekku, so she has been training extra hard behind the scenes as all of his classmates have it’s not weird that she has a quirk awakening. I mean at the beginning of the series Dekku literally had no power and broke his finger. just trying to use it.

I love how the readers (us) awareness of what's possible expanded with Ochacos conclusion. Everyone rejected Toga few if anyone tried to understand her because the nature of her quirk deviated outside society standards. Imagine if someone would've been there for her like this as a kid.
  • I feel like the friendship between Himiko and Uraraka might evolve. There is a slight chance that Toga actually listens to Ochaco. I find it amazing that a hero shows some sympathy for a vilain based on their backstory. Himiko might have her last chance to be a hero...

I literally shouted let’s goooo!!! When I saw it happen. Good thing my neighbors weren’t home.

I never expected this kind of quirk awakening from uraraka, I was expecting like make things heavy or change any gravity completely.

Not the first time she has done this. In the second hero movie during the coordinated attack on 9 Ururaka started a massive avalanche by using her power to break a barrier that the class built. No where near this feat, but similiar. Her powers were shown to have an impact on the barrier even where she wasnt touching. The barrier was also constructed of several logs, so its not like she touched 1 wall.

Now we got Uraraka’s quirk awakening this makes me wonder if Deku going to have a awakening also makes me think what could a one for all quirk awakening be like
  • Her quirk operates almost the same as Sigaraki's, her zero gravity spreads as long as there's contact; it would make sense that her awakening would mirror his. The weight limiter has broken, though.

I love how she acknowledges that Toga is bad and probably deserves to be punished, but that it is her own ego for wanting to help her. I normally don't like it when a hero is inconsistent by not punishing the big villain when they punished many smaller villains, but this reminded me that heroes are still people and people are often hypocritical and inconsistent. Wanting to spare a big villain just because you have more interactions with them isn't too big of a stretch, even if they are really dangerous. It's kinda like how people are told to chat with kidnappers or other people threatening their lives since it can make the criminal less likely to kill them (that's what I've heard at least).
