"I don't wanna be the owner of your fantasy, I just wanna be a part of your family" gets me every time. Such a treasure. Adrianne is the best 🖐️🖐️⤵️
-
She’s such an underrated guitarist. The way she plays chords is dreamlike.
-
her songwriting is just incredible. "Circle of pine and red oak/Circle of moss and firesmoke" is so simple but so evocative, and this song is full of lines like that
-
the perfect embodiment of being a “childish” person. pleading like a child to be near the other again, pushing everyone away just like an angsty teen, clinging to memories you can barely remember. this is such a vulnerable piece n it feels like she took it right from my soul
-
oh god. these songs are so intimate just hearing adrianne’s voice. watching her face is almost overwhelming
-
“Wanna listen to the sound of you blinking, wanna listen to your hands soothe” :(
-
me for 90% of the video: "show us her right hand you cowards" probably my favorite song of hers of all time
-
This song is what love sounds like
-
how do you just write a gut wrenching song like this and move on my heart is sore
-
gets a 12-string sound out of 6. beautiful
-
This song makes me involuntarily burst into tears and I love it
-
My God, even her inhales are beautiful.
-
This song is brave
-
this song just got a million times better after watching this.
-
maybe my favorite song she’s written.
-
Adrianne is a treasure. Found out about her a few years back when a friend of mine was playing her while she was giving me a ride home. Stayed mesmerized by Hours Were thr Birds for weeks after that and haven't missed an album since.
-
