My dad was a royal marine and always spoke highly of the Swedes, their assets and their abilities.

As a Swede I was against entering Nato prior to the war but now it's a no-brainer. Especially I want us to help our Baltic brothers.

Quite embarrassing to manage to call the Baltic Sea the North Sea, for those of you who don't know, the North Sea is between England and Norway and the Netherlands and Belgium. The Baltic Sea is an inland sea that starts between Sweden and Denmark and countries that have coasts towards this inland sea are Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Germany...

I think this expert should brush up on his geografy. It's not the north sea it's the baltic sea. The north sea is located to the west of Norway.

Sweden brings an highly civilized country unlike Turkey and Hungary, a very efficient army with technologically advanced weapons.
  • @ossian8009
He keeps confusing the north sea with the Baltic sea, not the same thing/place
  • Sweden's subs are the quietest in the world, the US paid Sweden to play extended naval war games with them to learn how to detect their subs, it went on for two years and they never were able to find them.

Sweden brings a lot of weaponry made by themselves. Swedish military industrial complex is actually impressive.
  • As a Swede, I can only agree with the soldiers in the video. "NATO is committed to defending and promoting the principles of individual liberty, human rights, democracy and the rule of law". This is where we belong!
  • Swedish troops were in Afghanistan with us, they have combat experience.
  • Sweden brings a lot to NATO, one key fact is a Highly educated Armed Forces. Most Speak English and they have worked with NATO for a long time, Integration will be no Problem from day one. The Swedish Air Force is small but are of the Highest Quality in Manpower and Equipment. The Swedish Air Force have also participated at Exercise (RED FLAG) with their Saab Gripens, which are state of the art 4.5 Generation Aircraft.

A government willing to spend and a population willing to fight.
  • To say that Swedens military technology is decent is kind of funny. Sweden is one of the top teir when it commes to make better weapons. And also it is a strategic win by closing the boltic

And the "NATO Salesman of the Year" award goes to......Vladimir Putin! Congratulations! Mr. Putin, who won the award also last year, after ushering Finland into NATO, says he's "humbled by the honour" but regrets for "not being able to attend the award ceremony in person" (he quoted something about Haag for reason).
