Farage is wrong face the facts

Published 2024-07-19
a response to comments and thanks to the Jeremy Vine show and Storm Huntley for details that do not seem to appear elsewhere and put Farage's points into perspective...In a brief interview for channel 4, Farage claims to exist in an 8-day week and to work 7 days. I am impressed: it is a faintly theological construct.

  • Maybe that person should ask Farage to apologize for the many many times that he has been wrong and told lies.
  • @Issac_Hunt
The more Farage is interviewed on TV the more we can see that he is totally out of his depth.
  • Farage's absence won't be tolerated in Westminster? Is that the same Westminster where there's usually loads of empty seats, except when it comes to debating MP's wages and expenses, where MP's have a hard job to find a spare seat to sit down? That Westminster?
  • The irony is that Farage would fit in perfectly with “subcontinental politics”.
  • Farage doesn't really care if he's right, he just says these things knowing his faithful will hang on his every word and bend over backwards to believe it's true. Then the followers will repeat what he's said and anyone trying to correct them is just trying to put their Nige down and that they are the underdog fighting for 'truth' which it usually is far from.

Farage is deliberately controversial. I don't think he believes a word he says. It's all about self promotion. He doesn't care about being right or wrong. It's all a jolly old game to him.

There were times when situations like these flare up, commonsense authorities seek to calm the unrest and restore the peace. Today, chancers will see it as a opportunity to stoke tribal differences.

Farage is the sideshow...lets focus on the main pantomime

Love the waistcoat Professor, nostalgic memories of Rupert the Bear!🧣👖 👏🏻
  • Farage like Trump is no doubt one who Auld Nick as we call him in Scotland recognises as one of his own and will grant him whatever he wants in return for his soul; something Farage no doubt regards as of little value
  • Farage had second worst attendance as MEP . 748 out of 751.(One is disregarded as they NEVER turned up!) He never once tabled a formal question. He had £35k clawed back as he'd used EU money to pay someone not involved in EU work. He gets a £71k pension from EU for that .. He never attended the fisheries group either. He just took the money and did nothing for the people he was meant to represent .
  • It’s summer in the city, minor disturbances go hand in hand with the summer weather.
  • `Frigger` thinks `trouble` and thinks only it can milk his personal opinions. So he has no opinion about gypsies? He does know there are gypsy encampments in Clacton?
  • @niriop
It is amazing that Farage can continue to attack South Asians broadly while having a Pakistani Muslim as his chairman (and primary donor) and formerly having a Pakistani immigrant as his deputy. Why does nobody ever point these bizarre contradictions out? The nonsense and confusion has to be part of it somehow.

Farage is right and right. I looked it up just to check my mind was not playing tricks on me and sure enough from wiki The Romani, colloquially known as the Roma , are an ethnic group of Indo-Aryan origin Indo-Aryan peoples are a diverse collection of peoples speaking Indo-Aryan languages in the Indian subcontinent. So they were from the subcontinent.
  • You're entitled to your opinion and shouldn't have to apologise just because someone else thinks you should.
