  • You can remember the vasculitis mimics by: ABCDEFG A amylidosis, biopsy by congo red and detect light chain B beurgers. Smoking as hell C calciphylaxis. Renal failure D DIC. Critical and bleeding PT&aPTT E endocarditis echo& blood culture in drug abuser or one having abnormal valve F fat emboli classically dislodging cholesterol after an angoigraphy G Goodpasture, one of the highest mortality ever in medicine, I don't know what to do with

    @K. NgL, I've had a overdue request for coagulation disorders for a while (including ITP).  A series on that will be coming once the chest X-ray series is done.

    Thank you Doctor. A layperson here who has done an enormous amount of reading to figure out what’s wrong with me. Saw my doctor, a dermatologist, a urologist and my cardiologist. I was at a loss but my cardiologist suggested vasculitis and referred me to a Rheumatologist. Finally. My appt is still six months away but I feel better knowing what I’m looking at. Thank you!
