I had been saving this to watch. I hadn't realised I was in it! Flashbacks to being picked last at school. Great video as ever. And thanks for putting Dan in his rightful place 😂
  • It's interesting how games combine mechanics with an interesting story to produce an entertaining outcome.
  • LOL! Your standees are hilarious. We need a real game with these standees in them (at least print and play)---so meta!

Great video. Quite jarring seeing the non-cute version of Sushi Go

wow, very impressive list and analysis ... these kind of games are definitely very attractive to me, i like the empowerment of being able to select and choose, very satisfying. thanks much

Excellent! Informative and great editing. I would ad a few very interesting 2 player drafts: Kingdomino and among the stars revival.

Another great overview! The one thing I would take issue with is Dan being picked last. Surely he would be a key element in any well balanced team?
  • Unlikely you see this but I’m working on my first game (pirate drafting card game) and one card I want would be like the chopsticks in sushi go, is that too specific to sushi go to use? My goal is to make a game where you can use the same deck to play different variants and game modes (kind of like spot it) so the card in question would have a different purpose depending on the game as well
