Everyone talks about the best scarabs, but what about the worst scarabs? After interacting with ALL THE NECROPOLIS SCARABS I can safely say that these are the worst at the moment!

Other terrible Scarabs to consider (either just terrible or not worth using over other cheap, less risky options): - Delirium Scarab of Delusions is terribly weak, as you can just use Delirium Orbs for more control and without giving up a scarab slot to a low chance that may or may not even procc on a map-to-map basis. - Legion Scarab of The Sekhema is bad too, making Maraketh always a part of your Legion Encounters. This creates a unique situation, in that you have to give up on using another Legion Encounter Scarab AND the market getting more saturated towards Maraketh than ever before. It's once again not worth using over a different Scarab. - Almost all new Scarabs that have the line "increased Difficulty and Reward" are suspicious, and usually not worth using, as the risk far outweights the rewards, plus the rewards don't even feel impactful compared to using a different scarab of their respective strategies. This has been tested for Essences, for Legions, and in my opinion is also the case for Breaches, as I would rather have more Breach Encounters and open them simultaneously than use Resonant Cascades. Abyss Scarab of Profound Death may be slightly better (once again, is it worth giving up extra monsters or abysses it is the question). Blight Monsters actually can drop quite a lot of loot, especially with extra bosses from Scarab of Blooming, so it makes sense for a strong build to consider Scarab of Invigoration, depending on how much rewards are getting scaled (but usually, this is not worth the extra risk compared to playing Blight Encounters with the other Blight Scarabs instead). Also... why are Tormented Spirits attackeable in the first place and not just invincible? Wish the Possession Mechanic was more valuable outside very specific use cases (meatsacks and whatnot), and not as rough to deal with unless properly invested into. Whenever I attempted to use a more casual possessed strat, it felt terrible in risk/rewards and not worth the time or effort.

The Tradition scarab maybe? when it came out i tested it out a bunch with some wisps, some ghosts and all sorts of other juicing and i think the best thing i got from it was like 500 alterations from one T17 :/

Basic Master scarabs, like those for Alva or Ritual - should have been reworked to grant ANOTHER bonus if you already have 100% chance from tree, e.g. 15% higher reward quantity from Masters (drops after you leave incursion, rewards in Ritual)
  • I think all “maps will have” scarabs are trash. Except the ones were “+# additional x” For example, “maps will have incursion” Vs “Maps will have +3 additional harbinger” Or “Maps will have expedition encounter” Vs “Maps have +5 additional strongboxes”

as a noob, I used the scarab of stability to force my way in to killing the t17 boss, obviously if you have a lot of currency and a fully realized build you dont need it but its quite useful early on or for increasing newer players chances to complete high tier content
  • Betrayal scarab of reinforcements - "Immortal syndicate members have 50% chance to be accompanied by reinforcements" This is legit shit, if you know how betrayal works you won't EVER need this thrash scarab, after completing a Betrayal event the immortal syndicate members are always people who has no safehouse, at least one captain of the current safehouse and their RIVALS, reinforcements will tend to drag one character as much to the current event for 50% chance to have +1 member is laughable

all scarabs to get blight/expedition etc is bad. Just atalas points give you 100% to proc this league mechanics or you use map device. Also to have 100% you need ~64 points on any mechanics you want.

Why won't you give us a good one bild 😂

wisp scarabs are worth to combine with wildwood allflames ;)

Scarab of Stability may more likely help those with bad builds or even bad players clear a hard map for the altas point, 5th slot T17, aside from that, is trash Torment Scarab of Release is "good" if you already invest on atlas the torment spirits, just how spirits behave and mirror tier builds are having problems with it, basic 100k - 500k dps builds are okayish running that scarab, is not about being trash but not viable on high end setups. 25% is pretty low, but anyways is not a big deal since most of the time you will be free them 0 times, or all the time, that's the magic of rng Betrayal Scarab of Perpetuation is bad on the amount of scarabs it gives relative to the amount of scarabs you use in order to make it work, but the problem is that, you are talking about a non-juice mechanic (betrayal) as if it were a juice mechanic in the first place, you use betrayal not to farm mirrors and T0 uniq as if it were deli/beyond or ritual/rogue exiles but slowly gear up with cool rare jackpots, every single league I have drop like 30% mov speed, T1 life, 2x Tier 1 res, veil suffix boots. Betrayal is kinda outdated mechanic based on current meta farmings, aside from crafts and veil orb, is really bad, and so, that scarab "helps" a little bit on a LITTLE more drops on scarab diversity day 1 league, so you can run other content once you are done with craft unveils. From what I understood is that by having a high end build, many Scarabs stop having value, and others start to gain value, Scarab of Curation day 1 is not worth the same in mid league, precisely due to the progress of the players, they go from low cost strats to high cost strats, relative to their build. So if I saw this same video made by a new player, I would say the complete opposite of, for example, Scarab of Stability, how it has helped complete a map due to his inexperience in the game, but I understand that, this not being the case, we base our personal experience 00:57 on how something is trash or not. So the only thing I have to criticize is that you are not focusing your paradigm on a broader one, I understand that you have mb and a build that kills everything with 1 hit, but not all players are like that, and what for you is garbage, For others, no, and this type of messages greatly affects new players who, upon seeing that the scarab they used or may be interested on use "is garbage", doesn't take advantage of it, harming their progress and gaming experience. I don't want to say that trash Scarabs don't exist, but it seems bad to say it without keeping an approach that understands the logic behind the Scarab relative to how your game understood, and the logic of "50% chance is not a lot" doesn't help either. And if someone fails 6 portals often in normal mapping, than he will also fail 9 portals!", maybe you don't know and the player, after losing those 9 portals from time to time, will gradually improve and over time jump to others Scarabs, Poe is a very complex and diverse game to be like this as it approaches everything as a funnel and disregard everything that is not "meta"
