Marine here. You know from the first time we started training in the fleet we were taught that the machine gunner has about 7 seconds to live once he starts shooting. Because all the enemies positions will focus on the machine gunners position to take him out so the fire would stop. Machine gunners are a rare bunch. Semper Fidelis

Will always remember you, my Brothers. Armando Soriano, Lyle Cambridge, Scottie Bright, Robert Swaney & Sean Durkins. RIP

I was in Mosul, Iraq 🇮🇶 2004 and lost brothers to the suicide bomber in the Chowhall. It doesn’t help that today makes it twenty years to the day. I still think my brothers daily and still salute those that are still serving like myself. Great documentary and I’m currently working on writing a book about my experiences in Mosul.

No a veteran but I want to thank every veteran who has fought for the freedom that a lot people take for granted now days

THANK YOU DOC AND REST OF RANGERS. Freedom comes with a cost and I will forever be grateful for y'all.
  • I deployed for a 15 month deployment there in 2007 with the 173rd. Walked through the crash site. I lived in those mountains for 6 1/2 months until I got shot 9 times.

I completed airborne school in 2006. I injured a groin muscle early in training I limped through airborne orientation course and had to reclassify I limped through 68 whiskey school when they asked for volunteers for airborne. I raised my hand. I limped through airborne school, but I made it Heartbreaking moment when the Rangers show up at graduation day when you’re receiving your orders for volunteers, it was all I ever wanted was to be a ranger but I knew I wasn’t gonna be limp through RIP. I got out of the army in 2009 September 11 I’m still heartbroken by that experience.

1:12:16 the little speech he gives…. If that doesn’t give you goosebumps and make you extremely proud to be American, idk what will!
  • These young heroes have a good Head On their shoulders. I salute every one of them. Thank you for your service. And May God bless everyone of you.

Friggin awesome. Respect to you, Doc. The Medically trained guys deal with...a little more than most; thank you for your service and excellent care of your patients.

If only all of the people in power would truly honor their oath to the US Constitution like these heroes did. Our country would be in a much better place today. Thank you to our men in the arena honoring their oath.

I remember that dam, one of the sites we were pushing towards, in 2003 when we rolled outta kuwait. I really wish we would have had armored humvee's when we got there; but F it; it was a wild, hot, and intense ride. Webster AF Base, then the damn, then the train station further west; and then Tiger Squadron. Guarding that weapons cache and blowing all those mines etc. I was 21-22. To everyone that made it home; much live and respect. That heat was no joke. To all that didn't make it back; until we meet again; brothers and sisters. Merry Christmas everyone, be safe this holiday season and let's hope for a better 2024!

As a Marine, i had ALL RESPECT for our Navy Corpsmen, those guys were absolute beast in my opinion!!! They kept up with us no matter what and would die in a heartbeat to save us, i mean at all cost!!! I definitely understand any service member appreciating their medics, corpsmen, etc, these guys fight and take care of EVERYBODY!!! Love these guys and nothing but respect!!! And talking about a brother like Marc Lee and what a great Seal he was has to be hard for these guys, Semper Fi and God Bless!!!!
