I personally theorize that the game could be "split" into two main storylines, one focusing on Sora and the other focusing on his friends trying to find him. In Sora's half the worlds he would go to are based on Disney's live action properties, like Star Wars or Marvel. While his friends are going through more traditional Disney worlds.

After KH3 i have no hope

Wow I didn't even know they were doing a new one, my wife and i have been playing through the old ones recently and she'll be so excited to hear about this!!

Those aren’t really Organization 13 robes. They’re are robes that protect against the darkness if you want to travel to paths of darkness or the realm of darkness. So anyone who doesn’t have keyblade armor needs to wear them, not just O13 members.

I hope when we go to different places we get sora to look cartoony like he did before

This brings back so many memories 😭 KH1 & 2 was so special. I’ll admit they played a part in who I am today. KH3 was ok but didn’t have the same feeling as the first 2

I’m definitely excited. But the most unrealistic expectation to have is hoping this game will be released before 2030. I say 2076 at the earliest.

I always wished they had just went with a sound, cohesive, engaging plot. 3 didn’t even have final fantasy characters in the main plot. Like that wasn’t the entire gimmick of 1 and 2.

I've been a die hard KH fam since the first. The ideal that it's friendship and love that keeps the light glowing is what made me have a little bit more morals as a kid. But adding in final fantasy game aspects it's been a cherry ontop for every game even though waiting for games is forever they always make it worth it. I am however curious as to what happened to sora needing to go find someone and why we have been dropped into a whole new world of questions. Definitely can't wait. I never got to see the trailer and thanks for making the post your awesome keep up the hardwork I rely on you for alot of the game drops I have interest in

Beyond excited for this I just knew there was gonna be more when 3 ended the “Seekers of darkness” saga and knowing square I have time to replay all the games at least 2 or 3 more times

This is probably just an intro level as the boss looks similar to every other first boss fight in the tutorials. So chances are this animation is just a world style that will come and go.

So hyped, cant wait. I hope they simplify "The Lost Masters" arc more than "the dark seeker" arc though. NOT dumb it down, but simplify and streamline a little more to make it easier to follow. Too much time travel and people coming from different periods to follow, its already complicated with all the worlds they have. Def think its hades at the end with donald and goofy and it makes sense for them to be looking in an afterworld/underworld for him. Sora abused (for good reasoning) the power of waking one too many times and that was a sacrifice to save Kairi and in turn "killed him", or sent him to an afterworld of some kind.
