Mnemonics, pictures (associations), the way of explaining and making it so interesting… Pure excellence. Way to go! Huge respect and huge thank you!! Sending lots of love and support for videos- from med student.
  • Psychosis IS NOT losing the ability to know what is reality and what is delusion. I can separate things I THINK, & my web of THEORIES I construct, to what I know are solid grounded facts of reality. I can almost always distinguish "outside" auditory hallucinations from, say, a real person saying something in another room. The most heart breaking part of it, is KNOWING what you are VIVIDLY experiencing is not "real"

  • Sincere thanks! Since watching I downloaded the transcript and edited for simplification. I cannot express my heartfelt sincere thanks enough! I am rejuvenated and can approach what I must do with a renewed hope and an understanding I did not have prior. If your goal was to educate and help others, I would say you have already succeeded and will continue to excel in your field, thank you!

Risperidone helps me a lot when it comes to my schizophrenia.
  • the positive emotions are salient as dopamine levels are highly elevated over long periods of time..
  • As someone who suffered from schizophrenia, I can tell you that when I experienced perseveration speech, it was like my brain was trying to get to the next word but my speech was hung up on and repeating the previous word. So I have to disagree about perseveration speech lacking purpose. Great video though 👍
