Dr. Mark Hyman reimagines aging and explains how the hallmarks of aging underlie all age-related diseases. Through science, we can unlock the potential to extend both health-span and lifespan by circumventing age-related diseases, like diabetes, heart disease, cancer and dementia. In other words, getting older is inevitable, but aging is optional. Dr. Hyman addresses how new diagnostic and clinical models may provide a roadmap to address the root causes of aging and activate longevity pathways.

This talk was recorded at Summit Palm Desert in November 2022.

  • I asked a almost 103 year old at my moms retirement home why she thought she lived so long. She answered “always having something to do”. We all need a sense of purpose. ❤
  • Looking good doctor 😆 you are an excellent embodiment of all that you teach about health and nutrition..you are in great shape.. you don’t look 63 at all..as a 54 year old myself on a health transformation, you inspire me to be, look and feel better as an older man..thank you 🙏🙏

I am having so much fun learning all of this stuff from you and I am looking forward to turning 40 in 18 months. Thank you for sharing. I have been hopping around saying 38 is the new 18…except that I am way more wise and beautiful than my 18 year old self, in my opinion. It just keeps getting better.
  • Phenomenal video—top notch. I’ve read hundreds of Health, healing, and nutrition books and watch thousands of videos and this is the best so far!

One of the best presentation on this subject-matter I have ever seen. Well done Dr Hyman !
  • Getting sleepy. Decided to drink some plain old water. Then it hit me. This water is probably hundreds of millions of years old but its still fresh, has not aged, is not old. Why not me? Great inspirational video. Thanks a lot but now I must hit the hay so hey see you later.
  • Thank you, Dr Hyman, for acknowledging our ability to be vibrantly healthy as we age! For me, who has been following you since a lecture about 20 years ago I attended at Kripalu, while training with Alberto Villoldo, this powerful information to continue my journey in exploring more ways to creating more vibrant health for myself and as a Holistic Health and Wellness Practitioner, to share this to all who come to me for my services. Keep creating JOY in our journey! BE BLESSED AND BE A BLESSING!!!🙏🙏💓😁
  • I disagree with the term "calorie restriction". Its better to just note it is "caloric quality and timing" so that you can feed yourself good nutrition that will last 24 hours and you can fast because you arent hungry. There is no restriction.

I am so grateful for you and your work Mark Hyman. YOu helped me when so many medical doctors were dismissive to my symptoms and added trauma to the shame. Thank you for teaching us all to lean in and be educated for ourselves. THANK YOU ! THANK YOU! Thank YOU!

Interesting that some people think Mark looks fantastic ,others think he looks older than his stated age. He does look very trim and fit- no abdominal weight gain at age 63 is impressive. BUT he has noticable bags under his eyes and his skin looks thickened which makes him look at least his stated his age. He also could slow down abit when speaking which would help people with no medical background keep up with him.
