Alright alright, a good team with little to no legendslegendaries must have some basic immunities like ground, poison dragon etc. If you can cover the weaknesses of the base pokemon can be considered a good team! So the team i would recommend (with alakazam of course) would have a Grimmsnarl(quad resist to dark with a good ammount of support moves like reflect light screen) would have a good defensive flying steel type (skarmory or corviknight) Could have Lucario because of his great typing and ability to kill dark types. Good extreme killer aswell. So now you would need a pokemon which could take fire hits because of the lucario and corvinight both week to fire. If you want a more offensive team that pokemon would be garchomp, if you want a more defensive team you could either go with garchomp or tyranitar. The rest you can fill with pokemon you like! This isnt the best team ever but i made it from memory so i am a bit proud. Feel free to argue in the comments

When team building you either choose your favourites and struggle to victory or build a team with diverse coverage and minimal weaknesses. (An example of a good team) Life Orb Lucario: Swords Dance Extreme Speed Meteor Mash Close Combat Flame Orb Milotic: Ice Beam Scald Recover Calm Mind Light Clay Grimmsnarl: Light Screen Reflect Play Rough Knock Off/Thunder Wave Rocky Helmet/Life Orb Garchomp: Swords Dance Earthquake Dragon Claw/Dragon Rush Fire Fang Weakness Policy Tyrannitar: Stone Edge Earthquake/Dragon Dance Crunch Stealth Rocks Air Balloon Jolteon Thunderbolt/Thunder Shadow Ball Wish/Thunder Wave/Yawn Volt Switch Unnecessary details nobody will read: Lucario with double attack from one swords dance plus a 30% attack boost from life orb can one shot most non-legendaries. Setup two swords dances and he can safely priority extreme speed OHKO nearly all non-ghost types that don't resist normal types, ie: steel, rock, ghost. Flame orb Milotic gets a 50% defence boost in exchange for being burned. This will prevent you from being statused and allow you to setup a few calm minds and recovers to then spam scald/ice beam and OHKO everything in sight. Since Milotic naturally has decent defence and absurd HP, she becomes a hyper offensive tank capable of recovery. Grimmsnarl is a great setter for eight turns of negating 50% of all physical and special attacks that don't break screens, ie: reflect, light screen or aurora veil. Thunder wave halves the opponents speed and has a 30% chance to paralyze them every turn so you get free hits. This is useful for setting screens, switching into a Pokémon like Lucario, Milotic, Garchomp or Tyrannitar to set up a few calm minds, swords dances, Dragon dances or nasty plots. Garchomp has a disgusting attack and speed stats, paired with the 30% boost from the life orb and a 2x boost from swords dance and he outspeeds and severely cripples if not kills basically everything in play. Fire fang is purely for the ice types that he is 4x weak to. Rocky Helmet paired with his rough skin ability makes him annoying to deal with since the opponent will lose tons of health each time they use a physical attack. Weakness policy on Tyrannitar? Who doesn't like a free 2x attack and special attack boost? Once per battle when hit by a super effective attack it activates. This means that when paired with a dragon dance, you get, 2x special attack 2.5x attack and a 1.5x speed multiplier. As long as you attack first, you win, period. Just don't let him get hit by any fighting type moves, he is 4x weak to them after all. Air Balloon on Jolteon grants immunity to ground type moves until hit by a physical attack. Jolteon has a ridiculous speed stat so as long as he's not up agounst his only weakness, ground types, you can yawn to force a switch or put them to sleep, Thunder wave to halve their speed and have a 30% chance of paralysis each turn, or use wish for recovery at the end of your next turn. That makes Jolteon VERY versatile and considering that it out speeds most Pokémon, Volt switch is a safe way to escape predicted threats by attacking and then switching out into a teammate of your choice. Jolteon is a speedy special attack glass cannon so don't let it get hit by powerhouses like Urshifu, Zacian or Calyrex-S. With that said, the best way to play is whatever you have fun with. So whether you use the team or not, have fun.

Personally you should always at least have dragon claw and swords dance on Garchomp since he is more of a physical attacker rather than a special attacker

basically you can't evolve a pokemon when its maxed leveled when one of the requirements is leveling it up, which is a requirement salandit has, so if you wanted it to evolve you would of had to somehow take away a level and give it back
