Special thanks to our first and last sponsor featuring in this series, Sakuraco! đ Be sure to use code âABROADâ for $5 Off your first # Sakuraco box team.sakura.co/abroadinjapan-SC2311 ! Experience Japan from the comfort of your own home! FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER we're going inside Ryotaro's house! His brand new countryside estate in the mountains of Zao. Suitably located at the base of the mountain I almost died on, when he took me skiing in a blizzard 6 years ago. Enjoy our last episode with Ryotaro and brace yourself for the biggest Journey Across Japan video of the series and release in a couple of days time (an epic video alluded to at the ending)

We finally made it to the world-famous-gotta-be Iizaka Gyoza restaurant and filmed the owner smiling behind us while we were rapaciously devouring the plate. Also, I'm so happy that many of you seem to like my 2nd house. Let's see how long it takes for the book to be graffitied.
-
The owner seems so happy and watching people eat his food, so cute.
-
Wow Ryotaro's "swanky countryside retreat" is incredible. Wonder what crime he had to commit to be able to afford it!
-
"How do you get that [hot spring water]?" "There is a pipe" Such a simple and obvious answer, but I love that delivery. I think a big part of what makes a lot of your videos so cool is the amazing friends you bring along and the weird chemistry. So far another great series, and wow is that house just stunning.
-
I never thought you'd touch gyoza again after the monster challenge
-
7:35 The fact that the ski trip was 6 years ago already really shows how time flies
-
So nice to see big channels like RyotarosJapan help out small creators like Chris. I used to know Chris as "That guy from RyotarosJapan channel." so it's nice to see that Abroad in Japan has become it's own thing now.
-
Gyoza is amazing! Got the chance to eat here. Owner is a wonderful man - he was so excited when we said we saw the restaurant on Abroad in Japan. You can get here via train from Fukushima as well - takes about 30 minutes. Totally worth the trip, truly the best gyoza ever.
-
Those episodes need to be a tiny little bit longer with just a little more showing of the streets and roads and surroundings - The journey is the goal of every journey đŽ great to see ryotaro again - I so missed him đ€
-
I absolutely love Ryotaro's new house. The warm wood makes it really cozy.
-
please include some of the calmer moments from around the day as well. it made this series special and made it just that much better.
-
Your chemistry With your friends truely makes your personalities come out and truely make these videos something special on the internet
-
Wow never thought Ryotoro had a human family đ
-
Iâm pretty sure I visited this gyoza place once during my exchange studies 10 years ago! There was a super rude Japanese customer in there at the same time as us yelling at the staff about how the food wasnât as amazing as he expected it to be and that he had been driving really far etc. it was really awkward. The food was indeed really good so we made a very strong point on telling this to the staff as we were leaving. It seemed like very appreciated praise at the time and we got some extra little gifts as we were leaving.
-
loving the new series but wish that you'd show more of the actual journey instead of just the destination
-
Of course Ryotaro has a great house, heâs the ultimate operator. Great gyoza and really cute ăăăăĄăă cooking them. âDonât play in my house!â I love him.
-
I absolutely love Ryotaroâs resort house. Love the traditional Japanese home style aesthetic but with all the modern comforts and conveniences. The in-home onsen is a wonderful luxury touch. I hope more people will save and restore these beautiful traditional homes.
-
Risottoro being Mr. Fancy with that house. I love all the storage spaces. I'm glad I was eating while watching this because that gyoza looked so good it made me hungry. One crispy side is how I like gyoza too. That whole restaurant looked so cozy and perfect to go eat after a cold snowy day.
-
What a meanie Ryotoro is by chucking you out of his house đ. He didn't even let you use the onsen bath đą. I do love Ryotoro's new house. A diary note for you Chris: 'Today, I complimented Ryotoro' Definitely one for the history books đđ
