My loophole at the store for returnsā¦ I was returning an item at target with a receipt but it was over the 90 day policy and they told me they could not return it. So I crumpled up my receipt and said āhi, I would like to make a return but donāt have the receiptā and they returned itšš

My local game store added to their reward member thing that part of the application is calling a family member and telling them that you love them

One winter I was doing a jigsaw puzzle that I bought from my local Walmart. When I got the whole puzzle done there was one piece missing. I live alone, no pets, so it's not like the piece would get tracked around the house. House. So I took the puzzle apart. Put it back in the box and went back to Walmart and returned it. I told the lady please do not let this accidentally get restocked. I don't want anyone to else to get this puzzle with the missing piece. They gave me a refund. One year later, it was winter again and I put on my heavy winter bathrobe and put my hand in the pocket and the puzzle piece was in there! š³

An additional loophole with HSA's is that you can document ongoing healthcare expenses for later reimbursement from the HSA. So, if you're willing to pay out-of-pocket for expenses in the short-term, your funds can grow in the HSA investment account long-term and, when you do finally pull from the account "after 65," you DON'T have to pay taxes as with a conventional IRA but you'll pull the funds tax-free, like funds in a Roth IRA.

I worked at IKEA for 4 years and our return policy was 365 days, even if itās used we give you store credit. One time a lady came in to return a kids item bc her and her partner broke up so the kid moved out of her house. She said she now has a crap ton of kids stuff in the bedroom and I told her bring it all back even if she didnāt have a receipt. She came back the next day with used bed sheets, kids furniture, toys, all kinds of things without original packaging or receipt and I gave her a couple hundred bucks in store credit! Lol I was always telling customers to bring back their old stuff š¤£

A lawyer disclosed that it would take 21 days on average to read all of the T & C for apple. Theyāre intended that way.

My late husband would read all the terms and conditions. Occasionally heād tell me to avoid certain apps because they overstep in their terms. But mostly he just read them, didnāt like them, but said we had no choice. But he always knew how to maximise any system. George and he have a lot in common. He also hated paying retail. I miss him so much. I try, but I just canāt bring the same level of game to loopholes.

While in college my friend and I thought we found the best loop hole ever when we purchased āBlack Friday Dealā movie titles for $5-6 from K-Mart and then did āno receipt returnsā with them at Walmart for the full price because they were different titles than what Walmart was offering as āBlack Friday Dealsā. Turns out thatās not a loop hole itās just called stealing. It wasnāt that we didnāt have a conscious or a soul, itās just that we were young and dumb.

My husband works for Walmart (yes, the Evil Empire), and he was told once that one of the stores he worked with had someone return just the controller for a radio operated helicopter, because it āflew awayāāand they did the return and the customer got a full refund!

Thank you for doing Mocktails! Addictive spending may go along with addictive drinking, so it is nice to see you thinking of us alcoholics!

The early days of Rooster Teeth's website had a ridiculous clause in their terms and conditions which said something along the lines of "If two people meet on our site and have kids then their first born belongs to Rooster Teeth" or something along that lineš RIP Rooster Teeth.

This is a fun financial show that i can actually relate. We used to have weird voice mails too. When we went to any buffet my niece already knew she had to say she was 5 to pay less and she always played along.

I know a Costco employee. Someone returned professional kitchen appliances from their business after 10 years of use.
